Writing this book has been a journey full of twists and turns.
To be honest, my real forte is the 'lie low and survive' style of story. Both of my previous works, *Kunlun's First Saint* and *Female Demon*, naturally gravitated toward that path.
It's not like I deliberately set out to write in that style.
By all rights, I should have continued writing those kinds of stories.
At least that would guarantee a certain level of success and allow me to make a living.
But in that genre, I already have *Female Demon*.
*Female Demon* was a high point that I, with my current abilities, feel I can no longer surpass.
That kind of success was a stroke of luck.
No matter what I write, I'll never be able to top *Female Demon*.
So now, I'm basically a newcomer again, trying to write something different.
There's no telling how it will turn out.
If it turns out well, it'll be another stroke of luck. If it turns out poorly, that's just a reflection of my actual ability, and there's no one to blame but myself.
Fortunately, the results so far have been decent.
It's also ranked in the teens on the new book chart.
Who knows, if you all chip in some more monthly tickets, it might even make it into the top ten.
So, I might as well ask for some monthly tickets while I'm at it.
As for everything else, I'll just let nature take its course. You can't force good results, after all.
Of course, your support will certainly make the journey a little easier.
Also, regarding a fan group, I'll think about it after the book goes premium.
