While waiting in line, Han Ning observed his surroundings with great interest.
The scene before him was quite an eye-opener.
Among the passersby were members of the Merfolk Race, who had scales of various colors on their cheeks.
There were also members of the Sea Deer Race, who had small, curved horns, pale blue skin, and stout limbs, and crawled low to the ground, resembling manatees.
There was even a non-humanoid, intelligent Race he couldn't name that carried a shell on its back, much like a hermit crab.
The most numerous, however, were the Merfolk and Sea Deer, who resembled the guards.
'I've heard that the scales of the Merfolk signify their class status within their race. I wonder if that's true?'
Han Ning watched the scaled people coming and going from the corner of his eye, feeling uncertain.
This was all just bits and pieces of information he had gathered from the conversations of other Alien Races on his way here.
