Jiangcheng.
The next morning, as arranged with Ning Qian, Chen Yang arrived at the headquarters of Cloud Real Estate Group.
He stood outside the company, looking up at the office building that was over ten stories tall, a complex mix of feelings stirring within him.
'It would be amazing if my company could one day have its own office building like this.'
But for now, it was just a fleeting thought, a dream he didn't dare to truly entertain.
When he reached the entrance, he saw employees coming and going, but without an access card, he couldn't get in. He had no choice but to call over a security guard.
When the security guard heard he was looking for the group's president, he was immediately refused entry.
Did he think he could just meet the president whenever he wanted? Did he have an appointment?
The guard told him to call his contact upstairs and have someone come down to get him.
