"Brother Jiang!"
Just as he got in the car after leaving the mall, Lin Jiang heard someone call out. It was Qin Youyou, whom he hadn't seen in a while.
"Here to grab a bite?" Lin Jiang asked with a smile.
"Nope. I'm meeting my sister for lunch today. Are you free? Want to join us?"
"Sure, let's go."
She opened the door and sat in the passenger seat. Qin Youyou was texting on her phone, and Lin Jiang glanced over to see she was chatting with Qin Yangyang.
He hadn't seen her for a few days, and Qin Youyou's style of dress had changed significantly.
She was wearing white capri pants, flats, and a beige, round-collared blouse. She'd also been holding a tweed-style jacket, which she had only just taken off when she got in the car.
This slightly professional-looking outfit was a stark contrast to her usual sporty style, making her seem much more mature.
