The Mage killed by Lu Cang lay where his body had fallen, alone on the ground.
Some time after Lu Cang had left, someone finally arrived to collect the body.
The newcomer was a man with yellow hair, dressed in a bright yellow Magic Robe.
He squatted beside the corpse, a dazed look on his face.
"Sigh… Old Lei."
"I always said that temper of yours would get you into trouble with the wrong people."
"Sigh, now that you're dead, how am I supposed to tell your fiancée? She's still waiting for you."
"Your wedding was supposed to be on the 10th of next month, right? Could you really bear to let her live on alone like this?"
"Couldn't… couldn't you have just held back this one time?"
"You said you'd stop being an Adventurer after you got married. If you two had retired to the countryside, your personality would have kept you much safer."
The Mage in the yellow robe sat on a rock beside the body, staring into the dead Mage's unblinking eyes…
"Sigh."
