In hindsight, Lu Cang was quite glad that Iz hadn't remembered to tell him about it. If Iz had mentioned it, he might not have left the house at all. After all, the Forgotten Realm was an unfamiliar and dangerous environment. Knowing his own cautious personality, he definitely wouldn't have taken the risk. Besides, he hadn't planned on running the Dungeons too many times that day—maybe a dozen times at most, or as few as two or three before calling it quits. If he hadn't stumbled into the Forgotten Realm during those runs, he probably would have missed the opportunity altogether.
