The attacks from the two Piano Demons were especially vicious. By playing their zithers, they could launch Qi Blades several meters wide, slicing through swaths of shield-bearing infantry a hundred meters away.
On the city wall stood a High-level King, an Evil God. This Evil God had a peculiar fighting style; its attacks looked like the cheap special effects from an 80s or 90s Hong Kong movie. Raising its hand, it unleashed a series of Golden Light Palm Seals. The palm seals flew into the sky, moving with a jerky, frame-skipping motion and radiating a golden light, almost as if they were shooting lightning, sending dirt flying with every blast.
By now, heavily armored cavalry had begun emerging from the Void Rift. They charged forward, but their heavy armor seemed to be made of paper-mâché, offering no defensive effect whatsoever. Some were blasted to pieces instantly, while others were sliced in two, horse and all. The scene was brutal.
