All around him, an increasing number of apprentices flooded into the plaza as the news continued to spread.
Colin stepped forward at just the right moment. He walked up to Cyclops's foot—or more accurately, right next to one of its toes. In comparison, his entire height didn't even reach halfway up the Golem's instep, but his voice was loud, piercing through the clamor of the plaza.
"Fellow students and esteemed visitors, welcome to the special exhibition for New West's twenty-fifth anniversary celebration!"
Colin pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses and raised a voice-amplifying Rune board.
"The Golem you see before you is codenamed 'One-Eyed Giant Cyclops.' It is the second advanced war Golem independently researched and manufactured by Lord Wesren, the founder of New West, during the pioneering of the Plane battlefield led by the Ring City Alliance."
A collective gasp of awe swept through the crowd. "The second" implied the existence of a first.
