Early the next morning, the thin mist had yet to dissipate over the academy square, but quite a few figures could already be seen.
As one of the hubs of the academy's transportation network, located in a corner of the square, several massive circular platforms hovered in mid-air. They were inscribed with complex Rune Arrays, their edges shimmering with faint light.
Several Alchemy Airships with rugged exteriors were quietly docked in their respective berths, their hulls painted with different flight route numbers.
Early-rising apprentices gathered in twos and threes at the edges of the platforms. The hum of their conversations blended with the distant rumble of starting airship engines, painting a vibrant picture of everyday supernatural life.
Most of them were Advanced Apprentices. They either grouped up to head to the First Ring Belt, the Ring of Practice, for their research projects or took on high-risk missions to earn lucrative rewards.
