The Earth Cave Fire Domain was located in the western part of the Southern Border, near the Sea of Death. It was originally a massive active volcano. Over three thousand years ago, just as it was about to erupt, several Divinity Transformation Cultivators sealed it with an Array to prevent it from wreaking havoc.
But the power of heaven and earth can only be channeled, not blocked by force. To prevent the volcano from accumulating power, breaking the seal, and causing an even greater disaster, those Divinity Transformation Cultivators opened a vent on one side of the Array, giving the accumulated lava a place to escape.
After three thousand years of evolution, this release area became the present-day Earth Cave Fire Domain. The land was riddled with subterranean caves and roiling magma. The living conditions were extremely harsh, the soil was too poor to grow crops, and it was very difficult for mortals to live here.
