What Xiao Chen had said, however, was, "Until we meet again."
If he had the chance in the future, he was still very much looking forward to meeting Zhang Shouquan again.
However, he didn't actually leave. After pretending to head West, he circled back and returned to the island.
After all, there was still Evil Qi to be collected. He couldn't just leave.
He followed the passage back into the cave once more.
This time, Xiao Chen threw caution to the wind, directly activating his Mystic Sky Eating Secret Technique at full power and beginning to devour the Earth Fiend within the cave.
The only thing he found somewhat regrettable was that this cave was quite deep, and not at all narrow.
Even the bottom was relatively spacious.
As a result, the Evil Qi in the cave wasn't dense, but was spread almost uniformly throughout the entire cavern.
Aside from the Heaven-Burning Fiend he had first encountered, this was the most sparse Evil Qi Xiao Chen had ever come across.
