"How dare you!" After slapping the girl, the middle-aged man glared and roared, "Have you forgotten your place? How dare you show such disrespect to my Little General! Are you fucking blind?!"
The tall girl cupped her face in disbelief as her eyes quickly brimmed with tears. Her expression was one of pure indignation, but she bit her lip hard, refusing to let them fall. She fixed a defiant gaze on the shameless middle-aged man.
"Well, well, I didn't realize you were such a stubborn little thing, were you?" The scene the middle-aged man had been hoping for—the girl breaking down and wailing, satisfying some sick part of him—never came. He couldn't help but say with a cold smile, "I wonder... if I were to buy you and strip you naked, would you still be looking at me with those eyes?"
His voice grew sharp and incensed as he spat out the last few words.
