Wei Mingsang was deeply moved by Mu Wanruo's words. 'Mother said Wanruo had ulterior motives, but here she is, still trying to arrange a marriage for Minlan.'
Wei Mingsang said, "Lin Bei's background is a bit lacking, but the great merit he just earned ensures a limitless future. His family status is a little low for Minlan, but everything else is quite good."
Mu Wanruo then said, "My current status makes it inconvenient for me to go out. Why don't you and Lady Wei propose the matter?"
Wei Mingsang nodded and went to find Lady Wei to discuss arranging a marriage for Wei Minlan.
