Since the day this book went up for sale, I've been updating 10,000 characters a day. In January, I even wrote over 400,000 characters. Many of you probably think 10,000 characters a day isn't much, but it's really not easy!
To use a joke we writers tell each other: try hitting your keyboard fifty or sixty thousand times a day, and then do it every single day... Heh, and it's no exaggeration to say fifty or sixty thousand times. You'll know what I mean if you try it.
February was Chinese New Year, and I didn't go home. The moment I set foot in my hometown, I'd be bombarded with one social engagement after another. Trying to write? Impossible! The holiday season isn't quite over yet, so I'm sure many of you can relate, right?
