"Felix?"
"Felix!"
Luke Lynch called his name a few times before the man in the corner finally snapped back to reality. He locked his phone and looked up, his dark eyes placid.
Fortunately, Luke was already used to this side of him. "It's rare we get to hang out," he said. "Why are you glued to your phone? Trouble at school? A student needs you?"
"No." Felix Sinclair put his phone away. "Sorry about that. Where were we?"
Luke Lynch studied the young figure before him and sighed to himself.
'His junior was perfect in every way. Barely in his twenties, and already the youngest professor and doctoral advisor at Jynsia U.'
'Ever since his middle and high school days, when he'd entered all sorts of competitions, people had placed high hopes on him. He'd lived up to the title of 'genius,' tearing a path through the academic world.'
'It was just... his personality was so wooden.'
'Outside of academia, it was as if nothing could hold his interest.'
