"Okay." The man's eyes were shut tight, but he smiled in the direction of her voice.
Hearing her footsteps as she ran off, he called out, telling her to take her time and not to rush.
Ten minutes later, Silas heard her approaching footsteps. But before her voice reached him, a rich floral fragrance wafted over.
He instinctively started to open his eyes, but she quickly stopped him.
