The eagle cries from the sky caught the attention of Feiyan and his group.
Feiyan looked up, watching several Eagle Beasts streak across the sky. "Those are the messenger Eagle Beasts from the Divine Leopard Tribe," he said.
He and Sunxiao had seen these same Eagle Beasts while they were tracking the beastmen from the Divine Leopard Tribe.
"So the beastmen from the Divine Leopard Tribe still haven't left."
Sunxiao glanced in the direction the Eagle Beasts were headed. They wouldn't be flying back unless something had happened.
"Something's probably happened here. We need to find Xixi, faster."
Jin Ling caressed the partner's mark on his body. He could sense that Xixi was safe for the moment; otherwise, he couldn't bear to think what he might do.
"We're here. It's just ahead."
Jin Ling ran to the place where they had found Qiao Qiao before.
"This is where we found Qiaoqiao before. She said Xixi disappeared here."
