Qiao Qiao felt her little head spinning.
She struggled to open her eyes, her gaze landing on an incredibly handsome face.
She was so startled by his turquoise eyes that she let out a cry and scrambled up from the bed.
"A bad guy!"
Feiyan paused, then grabbed Qiao Qiao by her little ankle and lifted her up.
"You bad guy! Let go of me!"
Hanging upside down, Qiao Qiao flailed her limbs, wailing in anger.
Seeing Feiyan, that clueless oaf, treating his own little female cub like this, Feili was so angry he nearly jumped out of his skin.
He quickly stepped forward and rescued Qiao Qiao from Feiyan's grasp.
"There, there, little one, don't be scared. Your father-beast is just overjoyed. He would never want to hurt you."
Qiao Qiao stared at Feili in terror.
'This old fox-man has such a kind look in his eyes.'
'But I don't know him at all.'
'Mother said I shouldn't let strange beastmen hold me.'
She squirmed out of Feili's arms.
