Every day, he reported his situation to Ms. Turner as usual, saying he had captured a lot of good footage with his camera. He could edit plenty of videos from it and guaranteed every single one would be highly entertaining.
When Mr. Turner made a video call, he excitedly shook the memory card in his hand. "There are quite a few treasures in here. In a few days, I'll find an opportunity to go home, edit the videos, and publish them.
"Our good days are coming!"
Hearing Mr. Turner say this, Ms. Turner breathed a sigh of relief. She realized she had been overthinking; things weren't actually as bad as she had imagined. However, she still instinctively reminded her brother to stay safe and not get too cocky. It wouldn't be too late to celebrate once he got out.
But Ms. Turner didn't expect that during their usual call time the next day, Mr. Turner would act a bit off.
