The officer glanced back for a moment, then went back to leading his men in the search.
While briefing his group on their progress, he also made sure to send some of his team members to search further afield.
"I'm not Captain Keller, I'm his colleague. Just call me Heath Hale." Heath Hale waved to the officers behind him, gesturing for them to join the search.
Because they had reported to the chief in advance, Heath Hale and his team had also obtained a search warrant.
After entering, the officers from the provincial bureau quickly searched the Vaughn residence from top to bottom but found nothing.
"Coach Hale, we've searched everywhere. They're not here.
But the water they left on the table is still warm. They must have left just a short while ago." One of the team members jogged out to report to Heath Hale.
