At that moment, the figure of the first victim, Miss Miller, had already appeared on the other side of the door. Zoe Sawyer could only force herself to stay calm and visually record every detail of the scene.
'There's still time!'
After taking a deep breath to calm herself, Zoe Sawyer began to observe the build of the man holding Miss Miller.
Her first thought was simple: 'This man is so tall.'
He wore a common black jacket. On his head was a baseball cap, and he'd also pulled up the jacket's hood. A pair of black-rimmed glasses and a face mask hid his entire face.
A quick glance revealed nothing of his features.
The sky had already grown dark, and there were few people on the street. Miss Miller leaned groggily in the man's arms, her eyes shut tight.
