Lü Zhong carved out a cave abode to facilitate his recovery. And so, he settled in the Heaven-Suspended Sea.
「More than half a year passed in the blink of an eye.」
'I never thought the Jade Nether Water Fiend would be so troublesome. It's taken me this long...'
Inside the Quiet Chamber, Lü Zhong let out a long breath.
The Pure Spirit Body had extraordinary uses. Compared to a body of flesh and blood, which was difficult to repair, it was actually quite easy for it to recover. It only needed to absorb Spiritual Qi to reconstruct itself to be mostly healed.
But it wasn't without its weaknesses.
For instance, when contaminated by an external source as it was now, the recovery speed slowed several times over. It was conceivable that if an enemy targeted this weakness, he could sustain an injury that would be incredibly difficult to heal.
Lü Zhong made a mental note of this weakness, reminding himself to be on guard so he wouldn't fall into such a trap in the future.
