"I didn't do it on purpose."
"I just want to know why he took all the other Spirit Beasts and all the people, but left me behind."
The Heaven-Burning Spirit Beast stared blankly at the sky, as if seeing into the past.
It saw the first time it met him.
Young and ignorant, it had gone up and licked him.
Later, it lost its leg. It hurt so, so much.
But he bandaged its wound and finally told it, "From now on, you'll stay with me. We'll rely on each other to survive."
"Oh, right. Here's a Third-Grade Spirit Stone for you. From now on, I'll just help myself to your food, okay?"
Ignorant, it understood nothing, but it knew it was no longer alone.
And it was never alone again after that.
But then one day, he gathered all the people and all the beasts, and they left.
He placed a Seal on it before he left.
He didn't take it with him, and he didn't tell it why.
It was just indignant. It was just lonely. It just wanted them to come back.
