The Sea of Seven Emotions wasn't an island, but an inland sea region.

The Sea of Seven Emotions was also called the Seven-Colored Sea. Throughout the seasons, its shores would display seven different colors. What was baffling was that these colors appeared without any discernible pattern.
It might be red in January this year, but purple next year. The red might last for a month this year, but only three days the next.
The colors were ever-changing and unpredictable, yet they were unexpectedly brilliant, stirring the heart.
It was called the Sea of Seven Emotions because it was fleeting, because it was romantic, because it stirred the heart, because it evoked loneliness, and because it was so much like love itself.
The most common sight here was couples.
Couples were rare in the Cultivation Realm, and most of them could be found here.
