At these words, the four fell silent again. There were only two types of Magical Beasts that formed such large packs: one was the rat type, and the other, the wolf type. If they were rats, a hundred or so would be a tiny wave. Furthermore, rat-type Magical Beasts were extremely weak, belonging to the lowest rung of the Magical Beast food chain. With their strength, dealing with them would be effortless.
But if it was the other kind—the powerful, intelligent, and unified wolf-type Magical Beasts—then they were in trouble. A single wolf, or even a few, couldn't pose much of a threat to a Martial Artist of the same level. However, when dozens gathered, they formed an exceptionally terrifying force.
Qing Lei frowned. "This pack of a hundred Magical Beasts couldn't be from the Wolf Race, could they?"
