Evangeline rubbed her brow. Cradling the soft little Bunny, she asked gently, "How about Mommy gives you a bath?"
Bunny blinked her long, beautiful eyes, her small face wrinkling with indecision. Finally, she gave a reluctant nod, her young voice laced with anxiety. "O-Okay, but Mommy, you have to be really fast."
As soon as she was in the water, the little girl clung to the side of the wooden tub like a frightened critter, her pointed beastman ears standing on end as if she'd been spooked.
Evangeline found it rather funny. She gently combed her fingers through the girl's silver hair. 'Maybe beastmen with fur just don't like water?'
She used some baby body wash to get Bunny squeaky clean and smelling sweet, then scooped the listless little girl out of the tub. After drying her with a towel, Evangeline dressed her in a beautiful empire-waist dress and tied her silver hair up into two small buns.
