As soon as she spoke, her voice fell clearly into the ears of the father and son. Javier Sinclair and his son exchanged a glance, and in a flash, they were standing before her.
They might ignore others, but when Celeste Grant spoke, they absolutely had to listen.
Seeing them approach, Celeste Grant pointed to the water splattered all over her. "Look what you've done."
Javier Sinclair's eyes swept over her. He reached out and plucked a strand of waterweed from her shoulder. "Darling, with your cultivation, why didn't you just put up a defensive barrier? You wouldn't have gotten wet."
Hearing this, Celeste Grant shot them a glare. "Easy for you to say. How was I supposed to know I'd still get soaked standing all the way over here in the corner?"
The two of them wrung their hands sheepishly.
