Celeste Grant had a very low tolerance for pain.
Thankfully, Javier Sinclair had taken the pain for her the entire night. Otherwise, she couldn't imagine what a mess she'd be in right now.
Now that the Magic on her had faded, she could feel the pain. It was especially excruciating when she pressed a hand to her abdomen. It just went to show that childbirth was no easy feat, even for a Cultivator.
Seeing the color drain from her face,
Javier Sinclair spoke up. "Just bear with it for a moment. The pain will be gone soon." As he spoke, he reached out, placing his palm over Celeste Grant's lower abdomen. He directly channeled his Divine Power to repair the damage her body had sustained from childbirth.
"You... Archfiend, what are you doing?"
A stream of power flowed from his palm into her abdomen, then spread throughout her entire body. It was warm and comforting. She could feel her body changing as the power mended her, restoring her to her pre-birth condition.
