After the banquet ended, the Federation representatives began to file out of the hall.
However, one of the Federation representatives was apparently delayed by something. It wasn't until half an hour later that he emerged from the hall with several attendants.
In front of the hall, a man who had been waiting for a long time walked up to greet him, extending both hands. "Mr. Chi, welcome to Jibei Dao."
Mr. Chi shook his hand and said, "I bring greetings from our leader. Regarding the previous matter, he expresses his gratitude for how your branch handled it. As I was leaving, he specifically instructed me to apologize for the trouble we caused you."
The man replied respectfully, "It was our duty."
Mr. Chi reached back, and an aide immediately placed an object in his hand, which he then passed to the man before him.
"A token of our leader's gratitude."
