When Ye Sha, who was on the ground, saw Li Qiye approaching, he desperately wanted to flee. But right now, he couldn't move at all. Although Li Qiye's casual strike with the Heaven-Reaching Stele hadn't killed him, it had utterly broken him. He couldn't even lift a finger.
As Li Qiye drew near and looked down on him, Ye Sha's soul nearly left his body. His face was deathly pale. In a voice that was stern on the surface but trembling underneath, he shouted, "You... what do you think you're doing? Don't forget, I... I'm the successor of the Nightwalker Sect! If you... if you dare to kill me, the Nightwalker Sect will absolutely not let you go! They will hunt you to the End of the Earth!"
Hearing Ye Sha's threat, Li Qiye spoke in a slow, leisurely tone, "The Nightwalker Sect? What kind of thing is that?" As soon as the words fell, he stomped his foot down.
"No—!" Ye Sha let out an unwilling roar, but it was too late. Li Qiye's foot descended, crushing him to death on the spot.
