Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 Thief? Nami!

The remaining pirates turned around in terror, looking at Link, who stood there holding the Denkou Maru and walking towards them step by step.

"Are you going to get off the ship yourselves, or should I send you to find your captain?!"

The words he spoke were so calm and ordinary, but to the pirates, they made them feel as if they had fallen into an icy cellar in winter!!! The pirates stiffly exchanged glances, then all swallowed hard.

Splash!!!

Run!!!

In an instant, all the pirates on the deck frantically scattered in all directions.

Immediately, a continuous series of "plop" sounds of falling into the water followed, like dumplings being dropped.

A few seconds later, on the vast deck, only Luffy, Link, and Koby remained.

"You're amazing, Link!!!"

Luffy cheered and jumped over, "You're so skilled, are you a swordsman?"

"I told you I'm an Item Master~"

Link put away the Denkou Maru, "This is just a tool/item I use for fighting."

As he spoke, the Denkou Maru continuously appeared and disappeared in his hand, as if he were performing a magic trick.

This display left Luffy wide-eyed, his mouth agape like a Golbat from Pokémon.

Besides Link having the golden finger that could draw tool/items, he naturally also possessed the spatial containment ability of the [fourth-dimensional pocket] that could hold countless tool/items.

In other words, whether it was a drawn tool/item or anything he obtained on this ocean, he could store it in his pocket.

"Mr. Link is truly a wondrous person..."

Koby next to him did not stint on his exclamations, although he had made quite a few exclamations today.

"Alright, we've dealt with Alvida of the Iron Bar, so Luffy, next we should start doing what we, as pirates, should do, right?" Link clapped his hands and asked.

"What we, as pirates, should do?"

Luffy snapped out of his starry-eyed daze, tilting his head in confusion.

But this time, before Link could remind him, he looked at the nearby ship and suddenly realized:

"That's right, that's right!!!"

He waved his arms, revealing a brilliant white smile:

"Since we are fellow pirates, and we won after a sea battle..."

"Then we naturally have the right to collect the spoils of war from the other party."

Link finished his sentence, exchanging glances with Luffy, who had turned his face.

They could both see the eagerness and interest in each other's eyes.

Luffy's interest was simply to put the pirate way of doing things into practice; this was the first time he would be doing something as an official pirate since setting sail.

And Link was also simply interested in the treasure on Alvida's ship.

Hmm, free money like this, why not take it!!!

When it came to money, Link was absolutely not soft-hearted!!!

The two left Koby to clean up the battlefield and excitedly ran to Alvida's ship nearby, preparing to collect treasure.

However, as soon as they landed on the deck, they heard a "creak."

The door to the lower-level warehouse opened, and a beautiful young woman with a black bandana, orange hair, and an impressive figure walked out.

At this moment, she had a large cloth bag on her back and a vibrant, youthful smile on her face.

But when she saw the two people standing in front of her, blocking her way, the smile on her face instantly froze.

"Huh?"

Luffy blinked, then picked his nose with his pinky finger.

"Nami?!"

Link was also slightly startled, then instantly recalled.

It seemed that in the first episode of [One Piece], Nami was hiding inside the merchant ship, and when Alvida plundered it, she snuck onto the ship and took the opportunity to sweep clean all the accumulated treasures inside the pirate ship.

"So that means..."

Link glanced at Nami's large backpack, which she subconsciously guarded behind her, and could vaguely see a glimmer of gold at the pocket.

"Has she already considerately packed it for us?!"

Facing Nami, who was poised to flee at any moment and looked wary, Link silently took Denkou Maru into his hand again.

The atmosphere in the area immediately became subtle.

"Who are you?"

Luffy was the first to break the silence, asking.

"Well, I..."

The Cat Burglar Nami heard the question, her eyes darting around.

But before she could come up with an excuse, Link exposed her first:

"She should be a thief who specializes in stealing treasure~"

"A thief? Her?"

Luffy pulled his pinky finger out of his nostril, "Makino told me that thieves are very troublesome people. This is my first time seeing one."

Saying that, he laughed in a carefree manner.

"But what she stole should be our spoils of war, our treasure."

Link kindly reminded his thick-headed Captain.

"Nani?! We're the ones who got robbed?!"

Luffy's eyes widened, looking over with an expression of shock that questioned his entire existence.

Link: "...Otherwise?"

"Is that so? Hey! You thief, hand over our spoils of war, our treasure!"

"I won't!!"

Seeing Luffy point the finger at her, especially when it concerned treasure.

Nami, with her natural possessiveness over wealth, immediately refused with a wide-eyed, fanged expression.

"If you don't hand it over, I'll send you flying!!"
