Chapter 136 - Chapter 136: Tobirama: "I Wonder Who This Bloodline Will Summon?"

Chapter 136: Tobirama: "I Wonder Who This Bloodline Will Summon?"

The moment Tobirama Senju stepped into his bedroom, he froze.

It wasn't a performance; it was the instinctive reflex of a master shinobi

facing a Mangekyō Sharingan.

Are you kidding me? Tobirama thought, his mind racing. The Uchiha are living in

a literal golden era—pensions, job security, free healthcare—and they STILL find

a way to awaken the eyes of hatred through a mental breakdown?

I truly have no counter for this clan's psychological instability.

"Save you?" Tobirama asked, his expression a mask of feigned confusion. "Elder,

my health is stable. There is no need for such dramatic measures."

The confusion was half-real. Tobirama had deduced that Obito and Shisui—those

two over-sentimental brats—had probably seen him coughing up blood and reported

his "impending death" to the Elder. But he hadn't expected Isshin to react by

jumping straight to the peak of Uchiha evolution.

"What happened here? Didn't I tell you two I was fine?!" Tobirama barked,

turning to Shisui and Obito. He used his "Older Brother" authority for the first

time.

On one hand, he was maintaining his persona as the selfless, silent martyr of

the clan. On the other hand, he was genuinely annoyed. He hated it when a plan

developed its own momentum.

"Seisui-nii, don't lie to us!" Obito sobbed. "I've been following you for weeks!

I saw you training in the forest—I saw your face turn white as a ghost from the

pain!"

"Don't blame Obito, Brother," Shisui added, his voice trembling. "I'm the one

who led him to the Elder. I can smell the scent of iron on you every morning.

Your chakra pathways are fluttering like a candle in the wind."

"And today... you vomited blood in the middle of class!"

Tobirama sighed. Note to self: The Inuzuka dog and the Sharingan-using stalkers

are a bad combination for secrecy.

Obito was the "Brash Stalker," while Shisui was the "Silent Observer." Between

the two of them, they had been conducting a 24/7 medical surveillance of their

brother.

"I'm an Uchiha. I'm a shinobi," Seisui said, his voice dropping to a weary,

noble tone. "A little pain is a small price to pay for the village's future."

"Seisui, stop the act," Isshin commanded. His Mangekyō eyes were locked onto the

boy, the spiritual pressure in the room making the air feel like thick syrup.

"I see the truth now. You're dying because you're carrying too much. You're only

a teenager, yet you've taken on the entire strategic burden of this clan because

you didn't trust us to handle it."

Isshin's voice was full of a rare, crushing self-loathing. "I've led this clan

for thirty years. I've spent every day telling our people to be 'Patient,' but

in reality, I was just waiting for a miracle. I was waiting for you."

"And while I was waiting, you were bleeding for us."

Tobirama remained silent. He felt a rare flicker of empathy. In his past life,

he had been the brain of the Senju, the one who worked while Hashirama napped.

He knew what it felt like to be the only person in the room who understood the

stakes.

Is this what it feels like to have an Uchiha 'Love' you? Tobirama wondered.

It's... a lot.

"I was a 'Hawk' once, Seisui," Isshin continued. "But Tobirama Senju taught me a

lesson I never forgot. He crushed my brother Setsuna in a week. He showed me

that raw Uchiha pride is useless against a mind that can see the whole board."

"So I hid. I focused on internal harmony. I spent fifteen years just getting the

clan to stop killing each other over mission credits."

Tobirama smirked internally. I remember that purge. It was a good month for the

Anbu.

"But now, I have these eyes," Isshin said, a desperate pride entering his voice.

"The Mangekyō Sharingan."

"My ability is unlike anything in the archives. It is a gift of 'Succession' and

'Restoration.'"

"Seisui, your body will not fail you. Because I am giving you my life."

Tobirama's brow furrowed. Wait. What?

"My left eye: Sukunahikona - Divine Restoration," Isshin revealed. "It heals the

spirit and the flesh simultaneously. It can rewrite cellular decay and stabilize

a failing vessel. It can even expand the recipient's biological potential."

"And my right eye: Yata-no-Mitama - Ancestral Communion."

"It allows the user to anchor a portion of their own spiritual power into

another. But more than that... it allows an Uchiha to call upon the 'Residual

Will' of the ancestors. It makes the Guardian Blessing permanent."

Isshin stood up, his face covered in streaks of blood. "I'm an old man, Seisui.

I have no ambition to be a warrior anymore. But you? You are the future. You are

the 'Izuna' we've been praying for."

"I am transferring my entire ocular reserve into you."

Tobirama froze. He was a scientist of the soul. He knew exactly what Isshin was

doing: Total Ocular Liquidation.

Most Uchiha guarded their eyes like sacred relics. Isshin was treating his

legendary Mangekyō like a disposable battery, draining every drop of its

god-tier chakra into Seisui just to ensure the "Prodigy" didn't die of a cough.

This is the most Uchiha thing I've ever seen, Tobirama thought, staggered.

Extreme, irrational, and completely devoted. He's committing biological suicide

to save a 'ghost.'

"Isshin-sama, wait—"

"DO NOT REFUSE ME!" Isshin roared, his eyes spinning like crimson windmills.

A black-green flame erupted around Seisui. It wasn't Amaterasu; it was a cool,

soothing fire that seeped into his pores.

Tobirama felt the "hardware" of his vessel being tempered. The friction between

his Senju soul and the Uchiha body vanished. His meridians, once bridged by

Kakuzu's threads, were now fused into a single, organic whole. The "Bloodline

Sickness" was vaporized by the sheer weight of Isshin's sacrifice.

The "Seisui" vessel was no longer a clone. It was a Master-Tier Humanoid.

At the same time, a dark, heavy mark appeared on Seisui's shoulder—three black

tomoe forming a ring of high-frequency energy.

THUD.

Isshin collapsed into his chair, his eyes turning a dull, lifeless grey. He was

blind. He had burned out his Mangekyō in under ten minutes—a world record for

Uchiha drama.

"It's done," Isshin gasped, a look of profound peace on his face. "I'm finally

just an old man. No more titles. No more weight."

"Seisui... lead them well."

Tobirama gripped his shoulder, feeling the "Ancestral Communion" mark. It was a

portal to the Pure Land, anchored to his specific Uchiha frequency.

Wait... Tobirama realized, his eyes widening. This mark responds to 'Residual

Wills.' My body is a clone of Izuna. My soul is Tobirama. If I trigger this...

He almost burst out laughing. I can summon Izuna Uchiha back into this world and

make him my 'Guardian Spirit.' I can have my greatest rival acting as my

personal bodyguard while I run the clan.

Saru... the luck of your administration is getting ridiculous.

"I feel... incredible," Tobirama said, and for once, he wasn't acting. He felt

the raw, unbridled power of a Three-Tomoe Sharingan syncing with his own S-rank

chakra control. He was back.

"Now, Seisui," the blind Isshin said with a laugh. "Why aren't you cheering? An

Uchiha who doesn't gloat after a power-up isn't a real Uchiha at all!"

"Hahaha! HAHAHAHAHA!" Tobirama let out a boisterous, arrogant laugh that would

have made Madara proud.

Later that evening.

"Elder Isshin... regarding the village," Tobirama asked softly. "You said we

should 'oppose' them earlier. Do you still feel that way?"

Isshin sighed, leaning back as his son Fugaku applied a cooling cloth to his

eyes.

"No. Hiruzen is a good man. A 'Prophet-Teacher,' as the toads say."

"He gave us respect when he could have given us a leash. He gave our veterans a

home. If he is fair, then the Uchiha will be fair in return."

"The 'Will of Fire' is a good deal for the people. And I'm tired of fighting my

own neighbors."

Tobirama nodded. Hiruzen, you've done it. You've officially 'Soft-Powered' the

most stubborn old man in the clan.

"Go get some rest, Elder. I have a lot of work to do."

As Seisui walked out of the shrine, he adjusted his collar. He saw Shisui and

Obito waiting for him, both of them now rocking Two-Tomoe Sharingans thanks to

the emotional resonance of the meeting.

"Seisui-nii! Let's go train!" Obito shouted. "I feel like I can take on the

whole world!"

Tobirama looked at his "brothers" and smirked.

"In a few months, I'm going to challenge Danzo Shimura in public," Seisui

announced.

"And when I do, I want the two of you standing behind me. We're going to show

the village that the Uchiha are the ones who truly protect the heart of the

Leaf."

The Hokage Office.

Hiruzen, watching the final moments of the meeting through his crystal ball,

suddenly felt a shift in his own perception.

His dynamic vision—honed by his 4:00 AM spars with Minato—suddenly spiked. The

world around him slowed down. He saw the individual dust motes floating in the

air. He saw the precise vibration of the trees outside.

He reached out two fingers.

SNATCH.

Without looking, Hiruzen caught a Flying Raijin Kunai that Minato had just

thrown from across the room.

Minato froze mid-teleport, his jaw hitting the floor. "Grand-Sensei... you just

caught it? By the handle? In your sleep?"

Hiruzen smirked, tossing the blade back.

Village Stat Check, Arata thought. [Clan Harmony] reached 90%. Potential

unlocked.

I think it's time I started learning that Sage Mode after all.
