Chapter 28
KEIFER'S POV
It was time for me to go to Angelo's house security was tight at my house. When I arrived the maid is the one that opened the door for me and announced to then that I have arrived and then she took me inside. And they were having evening snacks no wonder Jay has a big appetite. She saw me and instantly became happy. She was going to come to me but Aries stopped her.
Aries " what are you here for?"
Tita Gemma " Aries, behave. Sit down Keifer have some snacks."
I sat down next to Jay and she started helping me with some snacks. I love seeing her like this and both Aries and Angelo were fuming with anger. We were having and my left hand was on Jay's thigh and it was dangerously high . That was making her flustered alot i feel like taking a photo of her. Just then Aries bend down to pick something up. My focus was not him. I think he saw my hands on Jay's thighs that's why when got up he was literally red with anger. After we finished our snacks. Angelo took me to his study room.
Angelo "now tell me why are you here? What's the emergency ?"
I gave him the file. That contains all the information regarding Hanamitchi's. I mean they killed his biological father. He should know it. Hanamitchi's used to do dirty work of my distant relatives.
Keifer " this is very confidential file. Read it immediately as soon as you can and don't let it go in anyone's hands. Don't trust anyone"
Angelo " what do you mean? What's in it "
I stared at him for few minutes.
Keifer " we have the same enemy. And its lot more complicated then you think. If you think everything is sorted then its not."
Just then someone knocks on the door and he lets the person enter and girl enters. I think I have met her before oh yes she is Katyayani Yajn's sister.
Angelo immediately offered her a seat.
Katyayani " are you busy. I can come afterwards "
Angelo " No, no its alright"
Keifer " you two sisters do not look alike at all. "
Katyayani "yeah we get that alot."
Keifer " you look normal...I mean your eyes look normal but Yajna's eyes are very judgemental. As if she is the one that has judge us after death. "
Angelo looked at me with weird expression
Katyayani " thank you for the compliment"
Just then Angelo got a call and he excused himself .
Katyayani " mmmmm.....so how is school life going "
Keifer "don't know , if I help my friends their parents thinks I am not good for them."( I don't know why I said that to a stranger)
Katyayani " "you have two younger brothers what would be your reaction if they were doing what you are doing . Or if they had a friend that took them for fights."
I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out .
Katyayani " if you start getting complain that they are fighting in school. And then you get to know the person who is making them fight or under whose influence they are fighting what would you do"
Again I have no answer. If they were in section E like me that I would have changed their school that day only. If I got to know that they were fighting I would punish them.
Why did I get influenced by him so much . Didn't I have my own brain. I unknowingly ignored my brothers just for the fights , we didn't even go on even one vacation in these three years and they never complained camping was their first outing .
Katyayani " even if you say its unfair to parentify you when you yourself are a kid. Even then you are the father figure in their life"
I would never call getting responsibility of my brothers unfair. They are my family , my life.
Just then Angelo comes back and looks at me. I just tap on the file and say confidential. And went away. I have some self reflecting to do. While driving i saw a one of the boys I fought near the Fernandez house so Jay cannot get out of the house without risking her life without me. I started thinking about everything. If I got to know that my brothers were bullying a girl because of the past with some other girl I would be very angry. When I am myself doing wrong how will I guide them.
JAY'S POV.
I thought after talking to Kuya Keifer would meet me I was waiting for him. But he hastily went away without saying anything. Did something happen? I hope everything is alright. I will call him after sometime.
After dinner I was in my room. I video called Keifer. And he picked up immediately.
Jay" hello ! Keif what happened you ran away after meeting with Kuya did something happen?"
Keifer " nope nothing bad happened. I think it was time for some self realisations. And I realised that we never went on a vacation so before going to that house for four months I am taking my brothers on weekend outing for brother getaway."
Jay (screaming)" what do you mean by never went on a vacation in 3 years are you human . And they never said anything. I go on a weekend getaway every month with Flora and Yajna and sometimes Ate Katyayani. Fine . Have a fun time. This weekend we are going to my Lola's house."

I wanted to show Keifer more human and having self realisations. I think he wouldn't have done have of the stuff if he had someone guiding him.
