After lunchtime ended, Haruka and his friends went back to the class. 3 more classes and then school is over for today.
During the class, Haruka noticed everything except what the teacher was saying. He was too bored and too distracted by certain things to focus on whatever the teachers were saying.
Haruka was too busy noticing the nature, which included Yume. A gift from nature that was far too beautiful, far too out of his reach. Or at least that is what he thinks, so maybe she isn't really out of his reach?... Only God knows.
Haruka loves the fact that Yume always fixes her hair strands by herself when she is too focused. He wishes that he could have done it for her. And that might be what he was thinking the most about during the class was going.
After school ended for today, Haruka and his friends went outside together. Haruka wasn't very talkative, nor was he a quiet person. Introvert when he sees someone for the first time, extrovert when he is comfortable around them.
Aurel, Saito, Fuyuki, Naoki, Marcus, and Yume were outside waiting for Haruka. Haruka came out. He smiled and waved at them. He slowly walked towards them, and then Aurel spoke up.
Aurel: "Well...Let's have fun...Like, let's go to the amusement park or beside the lake, the choice is up to you guys."
Naoki, being the calm one and the calculative one, said, "Let's go to the lake...Nature sounds refreshing."
Saito, being the one who was almost like Naoki, agrees, but he says that he thinks going to the park might be more fun.
Yume says that they should go to the park, which seems fun. And Fuyuki says that he wants to go to the lake, because he loves seeing the water reflecting the sun, especially around 3 pm, when it's sunny, and according to him, it looks beautiful. Marcus says that he thinks both of them sound fun, but the park is a place for fun, and beside the lake is a place for refreshment. For having fun, they should go to the park, and he adds that having fun is also refreshing.
They all look at Haruka now, wait for his response, as he never makes a decision.
Haruka: (with a nervous tone) "Well...uhm...I... well park really sounds fun, you know..."
Aurel grins widely and then playfully smacks Haruka's shoulder and then says, "Whatever Haruka says, he made a choice after all, it's like seeing the sun at 11 pm, right? Hah... pretty rare... let's go, guys, can't waste our time."
They all chuckled and kept going. After a few minutes of walking, they reached the amusement park. Fuyuki and Aurel were so happy that it was visible on their face. Haruka entered a park for the first time in his entire life. Yume came here a lot, though it was her first time coming with friends. They were roaming around. Yume, being experienced, noticed that Haruka's eyes showed it all; he was the one who was amazed the most. She decided to show him around. Yume quickly grabs his hands and runs towards the Ferris wheel. She had money with her, she bought 2 tickets, and then she shouted at Aurel and others. "BUY YOUR OWN TICKETS!!! I AM GONNA SHOW HIM THE FUN!"
Haruka couldn't understand what was happening; he had a pink blush on his face as he saw Yume holding his hands. Yume got into the Ferris wheel with Haruka, and an evil smirk was visible on her face. She clearly expects Haruka to be scared. While being inside the Ferris wheel, she was still holding Haruka's hand.
Aurel and others got into the Ferris wheel too, but in another cabin. They can see clearly that Yume was holding Haruka's hand, so they all started to smirk and poke each other... Saito suddenly said something when he noticed Yume and Haruka were holding hands in one of the cabins of the Ferris wheel. Saito said when everyone was busy poking each other and smirking, "But in the face of love. One loses sight of one's earned intelligence. And eventually becomes "The idiot". He knows he has changed. But he doesn't care about it. His heart speaks in a different tone now. Blinded by an unknown force." Aurel and others suddenly fell silent...Naoki says, "In love, one has to be an idiot, and the other has to be smart...Otherwise, it just doesn't work out...In some cases, of course."
Aurel says with a playful tone, "Calm down... they both are idiots... A grown-up idiot and a teen idiot."
Everyone was happy with whatever they saw... Yume and Haruka were still holding hands, Haruka's heartbeat faster, and the pink blush on his face was turning into a red blush. Yume, on the other hand, wasn't much concerned, but when she realized she was holding Haruka's hand, she didn't even move. Knowing that moving her hand all of a sudden might look rude, keeping it right as it is sounds better. The Ferris wheel starts to spin. Haruka didn't pay attention to how it felt; all he felt was butterflies in his stomach. He always knew he loved Yume, but he was never sure of it. He knows it was getting out of hand. It was worsening day by day. A brutal illness with no treatment, either a curse or a blessing.
