The staff members took guard. From the platforms above, several of the authorities jumped down, landing on the stage. Among them was the yellow-robed swordmaster who had interfered earlier, two old cultivators, three sect leaders, and one murim high lord, who stood watching with sharp eyes.
The spectators in the stadium roared with excitement. Isbell immediately activated a soundproof barrier around the whole field, not just the stage, which won't let any kind of sound come in or escape.
"Deafening the audience, are we?"
A man in a dark suit appeared right out of the shadow of Isbell. The staff noticed the man.
{Sir Ripper is here too?}
"Stop."
A voice came from within the group of assassins. The assassins instantly stopped in their tracks. One of them, wearing a reddish shade of assassin's clothes, took steps forward while holding a scroll in his hand.
{What is happening... Why is Lynx smiling...} Lucia thought as she tumbled back a step, staring at Lynx who was still grinning at her. {Is he related to the assassins, no, how... I have never sensed any evil intent from him...}
Rey was completely quiet standing beside her. "So it's time," he whispered.
"What business do you have here?" Isbell shouted.
The red assassin threw the scroll toward Isbell. Isbell caught it and opened it, reading it out loud:
"We request that you may not stand in our way to execute the former princess from The World of Dynas, The Kingdom of Luch, Lucia Isotta..."
The atmosphere became cold and quiet as Isbell continued.
"If you do wish to stand in our way regardless, our authority will not hesitate to end every single one of the authorities and Administrator's organizations. Permission and warning granted by The High Venerables and..."
Isbell paused, noticing the authorities on her side backing away.
"We don't have the power to go against anyone from The world of Dynas, they exist way beyond us," the yellow-robed swordmaster said, as the others slowly began to walk back to the tunnel.
"And... by who? Who gave them permission, tell me!" Lucia shouted, walking toward Isbell.
The assassins began to walk toward her, as Isbell and the staff stepped out of the stage, walking toward the corners to separate, leaving Lucia completely open.
{I don't have my weapons...} Lucia thought, staring at the storm of assassins coming her way.
White lightning sparked around Lucia as she dashed toward them, taking them head on.
Lynx instantly jumped before her smiling, holding his dagger and striking toward her. She jumped backwards mid-air, barely missing his blades.
{Why... why would you...?}
One assassin quickly snuck behind her, aiming to stab her back. Rey kicked him so hard that he was sent flying ten steps. "Don't worry, I gotchu."
"What are you doing Rey? Kill her!" the red assassin shouted. "Don't you want to return back to your parents?"
"I've realized those are nothing but lies you made to control me." Rey stood before her as the assassins stood still taking guard. "Lynx, I'm sorry please come back to us—"
"YOU REALIZED YOU HAVE BEEN LIED TO DOESN'T CHANGE THE FACT I SACRIFICED EVERYTHING ALREADY!" Lynx screamed, pointing at Rey. "I WILL STILL BE REWARDED BY THE LUCH AUTHORITY FOR PUTTING AN END TO HER!"
Lucia was completely broken after hearing that.
"Don't worry, maybe they manipulated him, let's save him," Rey said after noticing her current state. Lucia nodded.
"I still don't understand what is even happening..." Lucia said, in a broken, halting tone.
Rey pulled soft blue gloves from his pockets and snapped them onto his hands. "I will explain to you once this is over."

"It seems we have a traitor, kill both Rey and Lucia!" the red assassin laughed, standing beside Lynx. "You deceived them very good Master Lynx, they can't even tell that everything you are saying is a lie."
"Don't think too highly of me." Lynx smiled, pointing at Lucia. "Everyone rush together!"
The assassins instantly dashed from their positions. Lucia's daggers glowed golden, alongside her body sparking white lightning, as she speed blitzed instantly, wiping half of the assassins.
"She's strong," Ripper said from the side.

Purple Death: 1500% Attack and Speed stat boost, every swing and step consumes a high amount of stamina.
Temporary Invincibility: Full immunity to all damage types, constantly drains stamina while active.

Rey's gloves blazed with purple aura. "I won't show mercy to you liars," Rey said, his voice cold. His eyes narrowed.
Rey dashed forward, swinging his fist toward the red assassin.
Lynx snuck behind him, instantly holding Rey's neck and trying to snap it.
"Hahah, did you really think your strength is anything against mine?"
Rey turned quickly while throwing a punch into Lynx's stomach. The impact launched Lynx out of the stage, crushing straight into the wall of the stadium.
"Oouh shi... I hope he isn't dead—" Rey sensed the red assassin right behind him, instantly backing away.
The red assassin missed, swinging his blade into thin air. "You have good instincts."
Rey ignored him, his eyes locked onto Lucia. She had beaten all of the assassins, her dress filled with blood.
"I will find the person responsible for all of this out no matter what!" Lucia shouted.
Lucia quickly speed blitzed her way toward the red assassin, tightening her grip on her daggers. Rey, seeing that, dashed immediately as he swung his fist toward him.
Lynx stood before the red assassin, multiplying into many clones.
Lucia and Rey backed away, standing together. "What are you doing Lynx!? I don't remember this in your pla—" Rey yelled at Lynx.
"Shut up, if you can't tell the difference between a truth and a lie."
Lynx cut him off, but the voice was coming from outside the stage.
"You won't touch him..." All three of them turned their heads toward the real Lynx as he stepped onto the stage, cleaning the dust from his back.
"Your distractions won't work on me!" Rey tore through the illusions and aimed his fist right at the red assassin's face. "I won't waste my time!"
A purple storage portal opened right in front of the red assassin. The heavy suction began pulling both of them toward the portal. The red assassin was sucked in instantly, but Rey quickly kicked through the wooden floor creating a hole, as he dug his boots into the hole, desperately resisting the pull.
The force kept getting stronger by the second, making him lose his balance and slip right in. The portal snapped shut and vanished right after sucking Rey in.
"Interesting," Lynx said after witnessing it. "So that's his dimension breaker skill, the pull only affected them."
"Tell me, what happened to you all of a sudden..." Lucia stepped forward toward him. "Are they holding something hostage or are you being mind controlled again?"
Lynx pulled out his daggers. "What are you talking about?"
Lynx threw one of his daggers straight toward her face.
