Ficool

CHAPTER 02

Time and again, she broke down, wanting to finally talk to them when she needed to.

But their behavior, like her parents, didn't help.

That's why she avoided the other two even more, as if they were some kind of plague.

However, something inside her told her she wouldn't be able to do that for much longer.

Which didn't fill her with much optimism, but she had no other choice in the matter.

"So, you finally made it there?!," She was only brought out of her thoughts by Hairi Fujinushi's words, who had finally noticed her.

"What if it were different?," Miyuru asked ironically as she sat down in an empty seat.

"Because I thought you'd given up on this meeting after all, that's why," Hairi Fujinushi replied after a moment, taking a sip of her milkshake.

"If that were the case, I would have given it to you sooner, wouldn't I?," Miyuru remarked ironically, sighing heavily.

The girls just burst into uncontrollable laughter at the sound of her words.

Miyuru wanted to retaliate sharply on that point.

But she couldn't because she was ordering her shake.

Nene hadn't let her know, meaning they hadn't located her yet.

Although she knew perfectly well that it was only a matter of time before they did.

"That's true, too, but I still don't understand why you're treating those two winged creatures so badly," Aini Katta said after a moment, unable to fathom why she treated them this way.

Miyuru almost fell on the cobblestones when she heard Aini Katta's words.

She hadn't expected her to mention it, which surprised her greatly.

That's because she hadn't realized how she truly treated them.

It wasn't until Aini commented that she realized she'd gone a bit overboard.

"If you had an aversion to men, you'd avoid them like the plague, right?," Miyuru remarked ironically, making no attempt to hide her feelings.

Aini and Hairi looked at her and sighed deeply at the sound of her words.

Truth be told, they'd expected that kind of response from her.

No matter how they tried to convince her, it was no use.

It was as if she suddenly developed some kind of phobia because of them.

Which they couldn't understand, as if their friend wasn't someone they'd known for a while.

"Even so, those two are loyal to you, so you don't have to worry about a thing!," Aini replied after a moment, placing her shake on the table.

"Especially since if I were you, I would have gotten my hands on them a long time ago and gotten to them," Hairi added after a moment, winking at Miyuru.

Miyuru wanted to get up and just leave at that moment.

She understood their concern to some extent, but they didn't need to keep reminding her.

Their chatter wasn't helping her make the decision that would determine the rest of her life.

Meanwhile, the waitress brought the shake she'd ordered, which she wasn't particularly keen on at the moment.

But there was no turning back now, and she had to drink it, whether she wanted to or not.

Reluctantly, she took a sip, wondering how to respond to Hairi's words.
