Hello Gang, This is the last free chapter for the time being. P*treon will stay 5 chapters of public release, but not at this current point as i still have to write them and redo how my memberships work as well.

P*treon.com/Alex_DLC000 for those who want to stay updated.

I started this Fanfic because I kept seeing good fanfics but then they just drop, it was honestly annoying. so I decided to have a crack at it. hope you all enjoy.

And heres an image of Junya Mori, as i realized WAY later that i forgot to describe him in the previous chapters.

It wasn't long after that Jun's mother returned from her grocery run.

Jun was sitting on the couch like a criminal before jumping up to help her carry the groceries.

But that didn't stop her from raising an eyebrow in curiosity.

"What did you do?"

Jun stopped, bags hanging from his hands. "Uh… let's put these away first, Mom."

His mom took the bags that she hadn't given over and walked past Jun. "At least you aren't hiding it like your father."

Jun blinked at the casual diss at his father, as he followed behind. "...He does that?"

"Only for stupid things. Is this a stupid thing?" Mom responded unbothered.

"Definitely not, Mom." Jun assured as he started handing her things from the bags.

"Good." Mom smiled, turning to put things away.

They worked in silence until the last thing from the bags was put away, then Mom asked "Did your headache have any other symptoms?"

Jun shook his head as he explained. "No, I think it's just a side effect of my quirk."

Mom turned towards him, leaning on the counter. "It is a new side effect, right? Or is it like when you used your father's quirk?"

"New. I was able to combine two orbs last night by accident, and I got… Flame shaping? As the result."

"But you're fine now?" Mom asked with a hint of concern lingering in her voice, despite the revelation of Jun's discovery.

"Yeah, I am."

"Good. Now tell me the not stupid thing."

Jun winced but then took a deep breath, taking a moment to run a hand through his white hair. "Well… you know Toga?"

Mom gave Jun a pointed look as if to say 'really? But she asked anyway. "The girl you swear isn't your girlfriend, even though you call her everyday, buy her things…"

Jun felt his face flushed before he could respond. "What's that supposed to mean!? Can't a guy be friends with a girl?"

Mom rolled her eyes. "They can but I don't see you giving that Ashido girl any gifts."

Jun puffed out his chest. "My presence is a gift."

She reached over pinching his cheek. "Save that confidence for U.A. brat. Now tell me the thing before I decide to pinch the other cheek."

Jun pulled his face away, rubbing the red cheek as he looked his mom dead in the eyes. "She's coming over, and before you freak out. It's an emergency thing, not a teenage thing."

Mom gave him a stare as she turned her head. "Emergency how?"

"Her quirk… gives her a taste for blood, so she doesn't find it disgusting, but people give her a hard time, like really hard, and it's been happening with her parents for awhile."

His mother stayed silent for a few moments. "How long has it been going on?"

"It started in school around when we became real friends, then progressively got worse. But the first time I heard about her parents was a few years ago when she slipped up."

Mom sighed and face palmed. "And you didn't bring it up until now?"

Jun winced at her frustration. "Because I looked over Dad's notes. Sometimes if someone helps you without asking, it feels like pity."

Jun put up his hand to stop her from talking. "But asking for it and actually receiving it can feel empowering. I don't want Toga to feel like I'm pitying her."

She just gave Jun a long stare. "And now you're sounding like your father, just with my charm."

Jun felt himself be brought into a hug. "You know you'll be this girl's hero, right?"

That's when he felt his heart clenched. "I'm fine with just being her friend. That's what she needs more than a hero."

The hug tightened. "So is that your hero quote? Just a friend, not a hero."

Jun cracked a smile. "I was thinking of going with 'Friendly Neighborhood…' whatever I decide my hero name to be."

"That could work, though, the neighborhood might be too small for you."

They laughed, releasing the hug. "Go clean up the guest room. I can't believe we're finally using it."

Jun nodded. "But the legal stuff?"

"Your dad will handle it, he's a licensed therapist, best if he gets to talk to her and establish a case."

Jun nodded again, already thinking of that. "Thanks for not freaking out, Mom."

"You did a good thing, I know you wouldn't do it without a reason so I do believe something is wrong, but next time? Don't wait until the last minute, we're your parents."

Jun turned walking away to the guest room. "I know, and I'll try harder next time."

Mom watched him leave. "Don't forget to pick her up, young man!"

Jun laughed as he disappeared upstairs.

Jun sat on a train station bench, looking at the website he had used for buying the ticket.

It said she'll be arriving in a few minutes.

He opened the note pad, typing away.

Things to do for U.A….

-Train for Combat, especially if I don't have a physical quirk.

-Train weight lifting. Need to be used to carrying people.

-Train Movement. With Mina's quirk at level 3, I should be able to be fast enough, but parkour skills will help.

-Test other orbs to see if they can fuse. But first, test if the flame shaping orb can unfuse.

He paused, trying to think of another thing to add to his list.

He didn't even notice a certain blonde locking onto him, running over.

I should check the tim-

CRASH

A weight hit him causing him to drop his phone, then he felt arms latching around his torso.

"JUN!!!!"

"Toga… you're squeezing.."

Toga laughed, eyes red from tears as she hugged tighter.

"Bear with it, I haven't got Jun hugs in a long time!"

Jun sighed, deciding to indeed 'bear with it', as he hugged her back. "Who am I to withstand such a vital resource such as myself?"

Toga giggled again, burying her face in his chest. "As long as you know."

They sat there for a few minutes before Jun looked at his phone that was on the ground. "We should probably get going, my mom was starting dinner when I left."

Toga hugged tighter for a moment. "... Do we have to?"

"My mom knows you're here and I bet she's already told my dad. She was very supportive of you visiting."

Toga looked up at him, chin resting on his chest. "Really?"

Jun nodded, letting a smile slip onto his face.

She's cute when she isn't crazy like the show, though I don't think I'd mind the crazy either. Yanderes were always adorable to me.

Toga's face turned red as Jun saw her eyes actually take in his face. "Oh? Are swayed by my dashing good looks?"

"B-baka…" Toga hid her face in his chest again.

Jun laughed, as he tugged her up to her feet. "Well, this baka is hungry. So let's get some chow."

He picked up his phone before standing as well, but his free hand was immediately grabbed with two hands.

Looking back, Toga had a smile as she looked down. "I.. I don't want to get lost."

Jun clocked the obvious lie, she probably just wanted to stay connected.

Nothing wrong with a clingy cute girl. Those MCs that ran from Yanderes were all cowards… except for the REALLY crazy ones.

"Of course, a new city and all that, feel free to hold as tight as you can."

Toga looked up, full smile, as her grip became almost hurtful on his hand. "Hehehe…"

Jun flexed his hand back at her, gripping with near equal force.

Toga's giggle grew louder as Jun led her out of the station.

***

When Jun stopped at his door, Toga had become quiet, a small smile still on face, but Jun could feel her anxiety.

"What's the matter, Bloodbug?"

Toga flinched, letting go of Jun's hand. "Just meeting your parents, I'm grateful… just nervous."

Jun turned to look at her, patting her head. "Just think of them as two more of me. Minus the devastatingly handsomeness."

Toga laughed before covering her mouth. "Pf course, who could rival the Jun being devastatingly attractive?"

Jun turned the headpat into a messing with her hair. "I might be a baka, but I'm sensitive to sarcasm."

She pouted as she stepped away protecting her hair but after a moment she stuck out her tongue. "Blehhhh!"

Jun's eyes narrowed playfully. "You're lucky I'm hungry…"

Toga pulled back her tongue, regaining her smile. "Then let's go eat, Baka."

She opened the door to his house seemingly almost forgetting her initial anxiety.

Jun watched her with a smirk as he followed her in. "Mom! I'm back!"

Toga froze mid stride. "Right… your mom."

Jun's mother stepped out of the kitchen, into the hallway. "Ah, you must be the Toga. Jun didn't scare you off already?"

Toga put her hand in front of her, gripping the hem of her shirt. "NO! Jun couldn't scare me… ever."

Mom froze at the response, looking at Jun, giving him a stare that said 'Oh really?'

He laughed awkwardly. "Mom, Toga. Toga, this is my mother. Ignore her teasing."

"Call me Mrs. Mori for now. Though I expect that might change in the future."

Jun groaned as Toga turned bright red. "Mrs. Mori… okay…"

Jun walked past both of them. "Anyway, I'm starving. Let's eat."

Mom rolled her eyes as Jun walked past, but she turned towards Toga. "Come on, you're eating right?"

Toga just nodded, still bright red, following after Jun.

The dinner itself was quiet. Mom kept giving Jun looks but he stonewalled her, not giving her ammo.

Toga picked at her food, stealing glances at Jun. She was caught a few times by mom, quickly refocusing on her food.

"So why's dad late?"

"He's prepping her case if it does get legal, I gave him all the information you gave me earlier."

Toga looked between them, confused. "Huh?"

"Oh, right." Jun smacked his forehead, turning towards her. "My dad's a licensed therapist, if you're willing to talk about it, he can help get you somewhere safe."

"...I thought you did that, you brought me here."

Jun softened his look. "I did. But there's laws and stuff that make it all complicated. But as long as you want it, we'll get you safe, even if it's here."

"Okay, I want it. I want to stay with y- here. I want to stay here." Toga looked down at her food again, poking at it.

Cute. But focus.

"Then we'll do that, Toga." He patted her hand as he got up, grabbing his plate.

"I'll leave you with my mom to talk about girl stuff, like getting you clothes and other non-boy stuff."

Jun saw her tense up as he took a step away. "Don't worry Bloodbug. I'm just gonna be in the kitchen."

Mom's eyebrow shot up at the nickname, a small smile as she leaned forward towards Toga. "He calls you bloodbug?"

And that's the last thing Jun heard as he left the room.

Dear Lord, my mother might actually tease the girl to death.
