Chapter 67 - CHAPTER 64

We were back at the site, dealing with the rest of the land; Dante was handling things. It was already afternoon; the deal was almost done. Dante looked exhausted. I chewed my lip as I saw Dante glare at the land dealers and at the antics they were pulling. They were getting on his nerves about the cost, and oh boy, he was hardly holding back.

Mr. Thomas intervened before Dante could react and started seeking things out with the dealers. I was watching everything by standing on Dante's side, unnerved to speak a word. Not that I was afraid, but he looked too heated. "Hungry?" Dante asked me, with a completely different face. I nodded at that. "Thomas will deal with the rest; come on, let's go." I followed him, without speaking a word. "Dealing with them is exhausting, like always." Dante sighed as he sat in the car, and I hummed in return.

It was a 40-minute ride, and the car stopped in front of the restaurant. It was neither high-end nor low-end, but I didn't mind any of it; if the food is good, I am a get-to-go guy. As we entered, we were escorted to a corner booth where we would not be visible to anyone. The menu was passed as we sat down. Dante scanned the menu, and he was done picking. I, on the other hand, pondered over the items and categorised them, giving more preference to meat items. We both ordered and waited for the order to arrive; meanwhile, wine was served. It was afternoon, but I didn't mind, as Dante ordered it.

As the wine was served, I swirled a little before sipping it, and Dante did the same. I felt relaxed after witnessing a hectic day, and I wanted to confirm whether it was the same for Dante. I took my eyes off the wine and met Dante's eyes, who were already watching me. I flushed a little at that, and I tried my best to look normal.

"I thought you always preferred high-end types of restaurants," I said to him as I took a sip of the wine. "Are you ok with this too?" I gestured to the restaurant with my free hand. Dante smiled at that. "I had invested in this restaurant," he replied, smiling at me. "Oh." My ears perked up at that. "You had?" I wasn't shocked, but a little bit taken aback. "Yes, this was my first investment, actually." He proudly informed me. "I was only 12, with surplus money. Money should revolve, and I hate keeping it idle." I forgot my wine, and my full attention was on him. "This restaurant owner was selling something on the streets near our school." His eyes were on the wine, swirling. "I always homeschooled, but sometimes I had to visit school, and one day, I spotted his shop on the street, crowded. And from that day, it had become my habit to watch him whenever I visited the school. I was in awe because he was running a small shop on a cycle, and it was always crowded." He hummed at the memory, and a fond smile was playing on his lips. "It was one of the usual days; after finishing my day at school, while passing by, I didn't find the shop or the owner. It recurred a few times. I don't know what happened to me, but I asked Thomas to verify what happened to that shop." He took his eyes off the glass, and they were on me. Meanwhile, the food was served. "It was an elite area, and our school authorities were against his shop. They forced him to shut his shop and made sure he was not spotted anywhere around the area either." He grunted the words, and I smiled when I knew where this was going. "Well, through Thomas, I made an investment in this shop, and last year, he cleared it with interest," Dante informed proudly. "Till today, he doesn't know it was me, and I will visit whenever it's possible for me." I smiled at that, and a groan slipped from me as I saw his bland food.

"How can you eat that?" I really don't know how people always do that, and Dante rolled his eyes. "I don't mind veggies, Rowan." "You mind meat?" My eyes were wide in exaggeration. "Not all meat, Rowan." A sly smirk played on his face, and it took a minute to hit the hidden meaning behind his sentence. I opened my mouth to rebuke him but closed it when I was lost. He smiled widely in return. "You are seeing me as a piece of meat?" I glared at him. "No, you are my whole course." "And that should make me feel somewhat better?" Honestly, I want to stab him with my fork. "No, no, but well, it went wrong. I never meant it that way." He sighed, pleading. I glared at him, stabbing my food.

We were out of the restaurant and made our way to the mansion. Bradly was on the couch checking some files. As I entered the room, I made my way to the bathroom, while Dante stayed behind, talking with his dad.

I entered the bathroom, once again mesmerised. No matter what, I couldn't get enough of it. My legs carried me to the open window on their own, and I was in front, watching the view. It was dark, pitch dark, and I couldn't make out anything, but still, somehow this place always makes me awestruck for some reason. I forgot what I came for and began to swim in the dark.

20 minutes passed; I sat patiently, waiting for Rowan to come out of the bathroom. Sometimes, he would get lost when he entered the bathroom, and the window somehow captured him. Yeah, it happened to me many times, but with Rowan it's on a different level. My patience started to thin, so I knocked on the door; no response. A few more times I knocked; still no response. Without wasting any more seconds, I entered. I sighed when I saw him, in front of the window, standing in a daze, with only a towel around his waist.

I walked where he was and placed my head on his neck, and I don't know how I got that much courage. I wrapped my hands around his waist, and, thank God, he was startled. "I know this is your favourite place, but don't you think you are awfully spending too much time over here forgetting what you came for?" Rowan smiled at that, not taking his eyes off the view and leaning a bit backwards. "This place is amazing, especially the view," he whispered. I hummed at that. I dared little more and started to kiss and suck his neck. I knew the effect of my touch as he leaned in a bit more, giving more access to his neck. This was the perfect moment to unlock my desire and gloat in it, but I wouldn't, not so soon. Not when he is still confused and thinks this is a big trap set by me. "Rowan, you should shower; it's getting late." He hummed, not moving but leaning more. I chuckled in his ear, kissing it in the process. "Common." I dragged him.

I held him close by gripping his waist and turned on the shower. He was startled. "This is not..." I hushed him. I applied shampoo to his hair and started to scrub in the process; he went completely silent, which I took as a positive sign. We showered together and were out.

I passed him a towel, and I started to wipe my hair. He looked calm, more importantly, composed, but I was anxious and nervous. For the first time, we were naked and showered together, and he looked pleasant after a shower, to my liking. I don't know how to take this in a positive or negative way.

We lay on the bed side by side; there was only a tiny gap between us. I was at my side, not even moving an inch, but Rowan ditched his side completely. Well, this is not what I expected, not at least so soon. He is full of surprises, isn't he? I sighed, and Rowan yawned a little loudly, not even sorry for his course of action. Not that I was expecting it, but if my dad was at my place, then sure, he would have given me an earful about my manners. I internally coughed at that. I turned to the side of Rowan, who also did the same. "Tired?" I asked softly, and he nodded at that. "A little." Once again, a yawn escaped him, and I chuckled at that. "Sleep," I told him, and he nodded, filling the gap. His hand was on my stomach and his head on my shoulder. "Night." He murmured, scooting more toward me, and I went into complete shock.

The next day, I was at the dining table along with my dad, waiting for Rowan. Our usual routine was back. My dad sighed for the umpteenth time in the past 15 minutes; yup, Rowan was fashionably late like usual. "What that kid always does in that damn room of yours. Is he not done with his make-up yet?" I coughed at that. "Apparently, he likes my bathroom so much, especially the window," I grunted the words, and he rolled his eyes. "Shut that thing then." "Shut what?" Rowan eyed my dad, questioning. "Nothing." That came in unison, and I was taken aback by my dad's action.

Breakfast went smoothly, with no exchange of words from either of them. My dad was the first to leave the table, and both Rowan and I got up as we finished breakfast. "I will pick you up in the evening; dinner at Brandon's," I informed Rowan. "I couldn't dodge the bullet anymore; the guy is persistent this time." Rowan chuckled at that. "Ok, then?" I tried to confirm with him before entering the car. "Ok, I guess." He replied, and I nodded at that. "He wanted to invite you personally, but I didn't share your number. If you feel good around him, you can share your number after dinner." I explained it to him further, and he nodded at that. "It's ok." "We need to work on the project and planning once the land is acquired," I informed him, and he hummed. He was answering only in one word or with gestures, which is not unusual, but still, he is not himself. I studied his face, but he was watching everything but me. I pulled him closer and hugged him. For a few seconds, neither of us talked, and he didn't hug me back either, but rested his head on the crook of my neck.

"Talk to me if anything is bothering you," I whispered in his ear, and he shivered at that. He didn't react for a few seconds, and I didn't unlatch from him. "Rowan," I murmured. "I don't know; this all feels too much—surreal, welcoming, and engulfing without giving me space to escape." I hummed, not knowing what to reply. "Too good." He hugged me back. "Too soon." He added. "Addictive." He muttered meekly. "It's too soon, but I want more, and it feels so stupid." I smiled at that, knowing exactly what he was talking about. "Nothing is stupid; everything is respected, and nothing will be overstepped." I held him tighter. "You deserve everything, and I am going to make sure of it." I kissed his hair. "I am clear about what I want, Rowan, but you need to come in terms of many things," I said, placing a hand on his hair. "And I will wait till you accept and welcome me wholeheartedly. We are taking this slow, as much as I hate it, but I am not overstepping anything." I unlatched from him, and we were facing each other. "You are triggering me with your actions, not in a wrong way. You push me so much that I think of unlocking my desire to devour you thoroughly. At the same time, you have the power to push me back without giving a second thought; I can lock up everything." He gulped, and I knew I evoked things in him. "I know how much of an effect I have on you, and you can't imagine what you mean to me in my life." His breath hitched as he gritted his teeth; he averted his eyes. "You can't fucking do this to me." He groaned, and I chuckled. "Have a lovely day, babe," I said to him with a smirk on my face. "Don't use your hand." Wearing the goggles, I made my way to the car. I could hear his curses as his voice grew louder.

Work was always a distraction to me. It was a habit that I adopted while I was a kid, and now it's a handful when I want to relieve my stress after the conversation with Rowan. I was equally aroused as he was, and I didn't use my hand. The mission is aborted for now, as I am consumed by work. I leaned back in the chair, stretched my body, and got up from the chair. It was lunch hour; it was a boring task in my life, but I still had to eat to survive.

The cabin door opened without a knock, and I turned immediately. Rowan was at the door, with a broad smile, carrying something. I was surprised at his sudden visit. "Hey, lunch." He pointed at the bag he was carrying with a broad smile on his face. "Common, hurry up." He occupied the couch, and reluctantly I made my way toward him. I like him and everything—no, scratch that, I love him so much, and I am not making him run by saying that aloud, but I hate his greasy items. I swear, when he always eats those items, I feel like I am gaining fat content in my body.

He opened the food items, one by one, with so much enthusiasm. It took a few minutes; everything was laid out. I groaned at the items. Chicken, deep-fried; fried rice—the oil was more; kebab—again, the oil is not absorbed properly on that damn sheet, and only one oily vegetable item. I facepalmed as I saw the items, and Rowan chuckled, watching me. "Two can play the damn game, babe." He mocked. Trust me, I didn't expect this counterattack from him. "You better eat everything." He cautioned, and there was a horror feeling just from watching those items. I cleared my throat a few times, trying to come up with some excuse so I could run. "Rowan, did you inform them to add extra oil or what?" I was feeling dread, like, seriously, this much oil. "How did you guess that?" He chuckled, enjoying my state. "Rowan, please, I can't." He shooed a piece of chicken into my mouth and glared at me. I can't spit for an obvious reason, so I started chewing with a groan. He started to set my plate, carefully placing each item in front of me. This time, I gulped in horror. "You better start eating," I sighed, taking the fork; my hand shivered a little at the act. I swear I will get him for this; by taking an oath, I stabbed at the food.

"I enjoyed every bit of it; did you enjoy it?" Rowan questioned, which sounded like a taunt, as he was at the door. "I permitted you to use your hand, too. How else were you going to eat, right?" Wow, I faced him immediately, and a sly smirk was playing on his face. "There is another way other than using your own hand, like sucking or using others' hands." I want to wipe that smirk off his face, which is pushing me. "There are many options, Morris, and I know that you know, as you have done a master's in the intimacy concept."

Finally, things hit the shit, and I immediately pushed him to the door, closing the distance between us. "You won't." I groaned on his face, and he smiled at that. "Well, it was just a thought that crossed my mind." "Rowan." A threatening growl left me. "What? We should have options that would come in handy anytime." I closed my eyes at that, controlling. He pulled me closer, leaned forward, and spoke. "Dante." He whispered in my ear. "You better take care of it before I go in search of someone."

I opened my face as the desire unlocked, and his smile grew wider as he saw me. I yanked his face and kissed him, with pure aggression. I kissed him with force, as my possession; I kissed him harder, showing him who he belongs to. As the seconds passed, I kissed him in pure bliss, devouring and conquering him. I sucked his lower lip so we could catch our breath and also make him harder in the process. The sound of our kiss echoed through the whole of the cabin. I dominated, and Rowan let me in. I pushed him against the door, once again without breaking the kiss. I started to explore his mouth; meanwhile, my hand undid his belt. My tongue roamed, savouring every second, and my hand was on his bulge. I licked and took saliva in, and my hand was on his precum, playing. Rowan moaned louder, and I groaned as I pressed on his member harder. He was the first to break the kiss, in ecstasy, grunting, moaning my name. My eyes were glued to his face, watching his desire, misery, and happiness. The sight was delightful and blissful. He moaned louder as I pumped harder; he hugged me tighter as he was reaching the peak and shuddered as he cum.

We stayed that way, breathing heavily and bathing in the aftermath. I pumped every bit of it, and his hold on me was turning tighter. He suffocated me at one point, but it was nothing to me. As the second passed, our breathing was coming under control. Slowly, Rowan pulled away from the hug, and I buckled him up. He didn't utter a word, and my eyes never left his sight for a second.

"Are you ok?" He nodded at that, and I made him face me. "Are you ok?" I once again questioned him. "Yeah." He replied in a raspy voice, and I nodded. "Do you want to spend the noon over here?" I asked him; clearly, he was not in a state to move. "No, I have a meeting at 4." He replied. "Come on, I will drop you then." "No, I can go myself." He protested, but I already started walking, dragging him along with me.
