Chapter 2 - The Director's Chair

Yuvraj walked into his empty house, his eyes feeling as empty as the rooms. He was alone, and the silence was deafening. He pulled off his shirt, now stained with Aryan's vomit, and tossed it in the dustbin.

He walked to a room at the end of the hall and opened the door. His eyes fell on a figure lying motionless on the bed. Machines beeped around him, and a bandage covered his head. Yuvraj's gaze shifted to the servant standing beside the bed.

The servant looked down, hesitant to meet Yuvraj's eyes.

"Sir, Rajveer's condition is... stable. But sometimes, his breathing becomes unstable."

Yuvraj nodded, his eyes still cold and empty. He dismissed the servant with a wave of his hand. The servant quickly left, closing the door behind him.

Yuvraj pulled a chair close to the bed and sat down, his eyes fixed on Rajveer's pale face. He placed his legs on the bed, his eyes never leaving Rajveer's still form. Rajveer had been in a coma for two months now, and Yuvraj's anger and frustration had only grown.

As he sat there, Yuvraj's mind wandered back to the nightclub, to Aryan's careless words and actions. His anger simmered, waiting to boil over again.

Yuvraj's face softened as he looked at Rajveer's still form. He smiled, a smile that was only for Rajveer, and leaned forward to hold his hand.

"Veer," he whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. "I met someone today. A stubborn kid, just like you." He chuckled, his eyes welling up with tears.

"Kab utho gy?, I won't be able to live without you anymore. I promise, I'll never leave you alone again." His voice broke, and he paused, trying to compose himself.

"Why did you distance yourself from me, Veer? Why did you start calling me 'sir' instead of 'bhai'? I want my old Veer back, the one who used to cry and laugh in my arms."

Yuvraj's tears flowed freely now, and he buried his face in Rajveer's hand.

"Please get up, Veer. Please. I want to hear you call me 'bhai' again. I miss you, bacha. Please get up."

Yuvraj's body shook with sobs as he lay beside Rajveer, hugging his waist tightly and snuggling into him.

As he whispered "I miss you" again, Yuvraj's eyes closed, and he drifted off to sleep, exhausted from his emotions.

...

Rajveer Singh

Rajveer Singh, 28, was more than just Yuvraj's cousin brother - he was his shadow, his confidant, and his partner in crime. With a quick wit and an adorable grin, Rajveer had always been the light to Yuvraj's darkness, the one person who could make him laugh and forget his troubles.

But something had changed. Rajveer had begun to distance himself from Yuvraj, his smile now a rare sight, his laughter silenced. He had started calling Yuvraj "Sir", a title that cut deep into Yuvraj's heart.

Rajveer had become Yuvraj's driver, assistant, and servant, always lurking in the shadows, never trying to cling to Yuvraj. It was a change that hurt Yuvraj deeply, and he couldn't understand why Rajveer was pushing him away.

What Yuvraj didn't know was that Rajveer was hiding secrets, secrets that could change everything. Months ago, Rajveer had been in an accident, an accident that had been meant for Yuvraj. He had promised his uncle that he would never leave Yuvraj's side, but now he was stuck in a coma, his body broken, his mind trapped.

....

The ruler slipped from Ishaan's fingers, and he burst into laughter, falling onto the couch. Aryan glared at him, his lips pouting.

"Why are you laughing?" Aryan asked, his voice sullen.Ishaan's laughter only grew louder.

"You got spanked by a stranger!" he exclaimed, wiping tears from his eyes.

Aryan's face fell, and he slumped onto the bed, sulking. Ishaan, still chuckling, went over to him and wrapped his arms around Aryan's waist, pulling him into a tight back hug.

"I think I don't need to punish you," Ishaan whispered into Aryan's ear. "You've already gotten your punishment."

Aryan's glare deepened, and he tried to push Ishaan away. But Ishaan just laughed again, his chest shaking against Aryan's back.Ishaan kissed Aryan's cheek.

"Don't be sulking, baby. Go change. I have news for you." He paused, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Otherwise, I'll spank your ass."

Aryan's face went bright red, and he pushed Ishaan away, scrambling off the bed.

"I hate you!" he exclaimed, stomping off to the washroom.

Ishaan fell onto the bed, laughing so hard he had to hold his stomach.

Aryan emerged from the washroom, his face still flushed from his earlier tantrum. Ishaan sat on the bed, a small cup of medicine in his hand.

"Time for your meds, bacha," Ishaan said, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

Aryan scowled, trying to refuse. But one glare from Ishaan was enough to make him gulp down the medicine. He lay back on the bed, his eyes fixed on the ceiling.

Ishaan lay down beside him, pulling him into a warm hug. He stroked Aryan's hair, his touch soothing.

"What's the news you wanted to share?" Aryan asked, his voice muffled against Ishaan's chest.Ishaan smiled, his eyes shining with excitement.

"I got you a meeting with the director of Dark Riders Biker Company tomorrow. You're going to be a part of the team, bacha."

Aryan's eyes widened in shock, and he sat up, staring at Ishaan in disbelief.

"What? How is that possible?"Ishaan chuckled, cupping Aryan's face in his hands.

"I told you, you're not less than my brother. I'll do anything to fulfill your dreams. But bacha, you have to be more careful. Try to control your short temper, and also, you have to be extra careful. I can't afford to lose you."Aryan rolled his eyes, snuggling into Ishaan's hug.

"Thanks, Ishaan," he whispered, his eyes welling up with tears.Ishaan placed a kiss on Aryan's head, holding him close.

"Anytime, bacha. Now get some rest. You have a big day tomorrow."

Aryan's expression suddenly turned tense, and he asked,

"But what about my heart problem, Ishaan?"Ishaan's face fell, and he looked away, his voice low.

"Don't bring this topic up in front of anyone, okay? Just leave it to me. You focus on your dreams."

Aryan's eyes searched Ishaan's face, but he just smiled and nodded, trying to reassure him. Ishaan's expression softened, and he stroked Aryan's hair, his touch gentle.

As Aryan drifted off to sleep, Ishaan's mind began to wander. He was lost in his thoughts, thinking about the lie he would have to tell the director of Dark Riders. He had never lied before, but for Aryan, he would do anything.

"I'll tell them you're perfectly fine," Ishaan whispered to himself, his voice barely audible. "I'll make sure no one finds out about your heart condition. You're safe, bacha. I've got you."

With that thought, Ishaan's eyes grew heavy, and he drifted off to sleep, his arm wrapped protectively around Aryan.

.....

Aryan arrived at the Dark Riders Biker Company, his heart racing with excitement. He had been looking forward to this meeting all night. As he pulled into the parking lot, he failed to notice a sleek black car parked in the corner.

His bike hit the car with a loud screech, and Aryan's heart sank. He got off his bike, inspecting the damage. That's when he saw the car's owner - Yuvraj.

Yuvraj's eyes narrowed, his face darkening with anger.

"You again," he growled.Aryan smirked, his sassy tone kicking in.

"Oh, Grandpa's car. I'm so sorry. I didn't realize I was parking in a retirement home."Yuvraj's face turned red with rage.

"You little brat," he snarled. "You have no respect for anyone."

Aryan shrugged, his grin still plastered on his face.

"Hey, someone's got to keep things interesting around here. And by the way, Grandpa, you might want to get your car insured. Just saying."

Yuvraj's eyes flashed with anger, and he took a step closer to Aryan. But Aryan just laughed, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Hey, don't get your Blood pressure high, Grandpa. It's just a car." With that, Aryan turned and walked away, leaving Yuvraj seething with anger.

...

Aryan took a few deep breaths, composing himself before entering the director's room. But as he stepped inside, his eyes widened in shock. His body felt like it had been punched in the gut, leaving him breathless.

Seated in the director's chair was none other than Yuvraj. Their eyes met, and they both exclaimed in unison, "You!"

Aryan's laughter was laced with sarcasm as he glared at Yuvraj.

"What are you doing here? Don't you have any shame sitting in the director's chair?" Aryan's attitude was on full display, his words dripping with disdain.

Yuvraj, however, didn't flinch. He looked down at the file in front of him, a smirk spreading across his lips as he read Aryan's name. He stood up, his tall frame towering over Aryan, who stared at him with a confused expression.

But as Yuvraj began to speak, Aryan's body began to shake. Yuvraj's deep, scary voice sent shivers down Aryan's spine.

"So, you're the one I'm here to interview. Well, don't worry, I don't need security to kick you out. I'm enough to handle you."

Aryan's face fell, his eyes wide with fear. His face turned sweaty, and he blinked rapidly, staring at Yuvraj, who leaned back in his chair, a grin spreading across his face.

Aryan's eyes were fixed on Yuvraj, his mind racing with thoughts of how he was going to get out of this situation. He tried to speak, but his voice caught in his throat.

Yuvraj's grin grew wider, his eyes glinting with amusement.

"So, Aryan, tell me, what makes you think you're qualified to be a part of Dark Riders?" he asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

Aryan's face burned with anger, but he tried to keep his cool. He took a deep breath and began to speak, but Yuvraj cut him off.

"I don't want to hear your lies, Aryan," Yuvraj said, his voice cold. "I want to see what you're capable of. So, here's what's going to happen. You're going to go on a ride with me, and if you can keep up, then maybe, just maybe, I'll consider hiring you."

Aryan's eyes widened in shock, but he quickly regained his composure. He smirked at Yuvraj, his eyes flashing with defiance.

"I'm not afraid of you, Grandpa," he said, his voice steady. "I'll ride with you, and I'll show you what I'm capable of."Yuvraj's grin grew wider, his eyes glinting with excitement.

"I'm looking forward to it, Aryan," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Let's see if you can put your money where your mouth is."
