"Alice?"
At his call, Alice shook herself back to reality, withdrawing her gaze from Josephine—who was entering the house with Cassie—and returning to her simple, casual expression.
"Hum, oh yeah, we just decided to pay Jazmín a visit," she said, shaking her head vigorously.
"We?" Miles asked. He turned to see the two passengers in the car and paused.
Surprisingly, the feisty diva among them was behind the wheel, staring at him, while the big-chested, smart one, Alisha, smiled back at him. There was a brief moment of silence before Miles waved his hand.
"Hi there, Alisha."
The windows were rolled down so they could hear him. Pretending not to see Allison inside the car—due to the fact that they weren't on good terms—he smirked.
"Miles, nice to see you." Alisha waved with a simple smile.
Furrowing her brows at the scene, Allison suppressed her anger and turned her gaze away. 'What a jerk!' she thought.
