Chewing sounds immediately came from the fog. Even through the screen, Wilson felt his skin crawl.
As Colonel Yuri and the others moved closer, Wilson saw through the camera that a group of Chimeras had gathered around the corpse with their heads down, tearing into it.
Blood kept spraying out, splashing onto the floor and the walls.
The scene looked like hell.
"My God!", Wilson looked at Dr. Kyle, "Do your Chimeras normally do this?"
Dr. Kyle looked completely confused.
"Th-this is the first time I've ever seen anything like this."
At that moment, Colonel Yuri spoke quietly, "Don't alert them. We'll go around them. Move."
But just then, one of the Chimeras looked toward the mech squad.
This Chimera had originally been a woman, but now she had become a monster with a fly's head, a bee's stinger, and two crab claws dragging behind her.
"Shit!"
"Get ready to fight!"
