*Focus On Doing Your Work*

*Proverbs 4:25 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.*
Often we are distracted and disturbed by many things or people that are wasting our time and energy by their foolish or immature words or arguments. At times, it is discouraging or disappointing to see our time and resources going in vain after spending them on others.
Here's a loving exhortation to focus on doing your work and finishing it faithfully and joyfully. Philippians 1:3-6.
DO YOUR WORK
Keep about your work (that God has given you).
Do not flinch because the lion roars,
do not stop to stone devil's dogs;
do not fool away your time chasing the devil's rabbits.
Do your work.
Let liars lie, let corporations resolve,
let the devil do his worst;
but see to it that nothing hinders you
from fulfilling the work that God has given you.
He has not commanded you to get rich.
He has never bidden you to defend your character.
He has not set you at work to contradict falsehood (about yourself)
which Satan and his servants may start to peddle.
If you do those things, you will do nothing else;
you will be at work for yourself and not for the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:11-14 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.
*Psalms 101:3 I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it.*
