"Well I have been cooped up in this lake since I came, I might as well explore my surroundings" Cordelia said as she walked around, she was in a huge forest with no end in sight and while exploring she happened to come upon a village the village looked like something that belongs in the water, with numerous sea shells and corals decorating their homes and clothes that seemed tailored for merfolk, from their conversation she learned that there was a beach north to her little pond, so she decided to speak with them. Immediately she came out they stopped talking. "Um hi- " Before she could continue they knelt down and a young man who looked like a chief starting speaking "Your majesty, I am Azure your loyal servant, and we are merfolk." He said. "Huh Merfolk no wonder you look so pretty, but why do you refer to me as your majesty?" She asked curiously. "You have the only divine fragment of the water goddess, your majesty". He replied respectfully. "Ok Azure tell me more about this world". She asked. "Ok your majesty, this world is a playground for gods each god has a domain they rule over and have followers loyal to them a few billion years ago there was a great war and the world was severely damaged and from then on the world banished and restricted gods from easily coming to the main world, they can only stay in their domain worlds but in that war many gods fell including the goddess of water and the god of blood and lightning, though supremely powerful gods can easily go and come in the main world now the current world is divided into different factions, the elves, the dragons, the elementals, the beastfolk and the inferior creatures, the elves, the dragons and the elementals are further divided by elements and the elves and dragons are sharing the central continent, the elemental continent for elementals, the beast continent for beast folk and the lesser continents for the inferior creatures, the fairies have the enchanted forest, and the angels have the sky continents, we are currently on the central continent, your highness". He narrated.
"And your majesty there is a ruin nearby that you may be interested in". "Thank you so much, oh here take these". She said giving him the water shards, after receiving them he bowed gratefully because this was a crucial material needed for their evolution. She then set of for the ruin. Upon getting to the ruin, the air felt cold, the walls were made of obsidian and inlaid with onyx and it looked more like a temple than a ruin. She stepped inside taking in the opulence with her breath held as if breathing will cause this ethereal temple to vanish "What is a young divine spirit like you doing in my temple" A voice questioned, turning around she came face to face with a man that looked like he was made of shadows and void, his face was so breathtakingly beautiful, yes beautiful there was no other word she could use to describe him. After a while she came to her senses and replied, "I apologize if I have intruded, that was not my intention your divine eminence, but please may I learn your title?" She replied and asked respectfully. He looked at her thoughtfully and replied, "I am the God of death, shadows and void, just call me the generic title". He ordered. "Yes your eminence". She responded. "Go on now little divine spirit explore but do not go further than you are required to".He said with amusement in his eyes. "Thank you your eminence". She said and left. After she left he smiled and said, "Things are for sure getting interesting".
