Elara opened the door and sprinted in, her chest heaving up and down.
The screaming had only grown louder. "Elara! Elara!"
Realizing the screams were coming from the bathroom, Elara panicked even more. She hurried over and grabbed the doorknob, but it wouldn't open. Her eyes widened. "Zia! Zia!" she called. "Zia, open the door!"
She had told her countless times not to lock the bathroom door, but the little girl never listened.
"Zia," Elara called again, tugging at the knob. All she could hear was more screaming.
"Don't come in!"
"Open the door," Elara said again, her voice stern.
"No!" came the reply from inside.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm dying!"
Elara's heart jerked violently. She immediately pulled at the door again. "Zia, open the door right now."
"I can't! I'm naked!"
Elara froze, her eyes already darkening. "Then tell me what happened."
"The soap jumped into my eyes," Zia replied.
Elara went silent.
