Chapter 6 - The monsters hell turns into his worst nightmare (part 1)special chpter

It had been three months since Asm had infiltrated the town, and in that time, the local authorities were having what medical professionals called a "collective mental breakdown."

Asm's reign of chaos was… unconventional. He had leveled three buildings just to see how the architecture crumbled. He had caused dozens of casualties, yet somehow, by some freakish calculation of physics, nobody had actually died—they were just left very, very confused. He had wrestled a silverback gorilla at the local zoo to a draw, and in a move that defied every law of biology, he had somehow "resurrected" a lizard into a six-foot-tall dinosaur that now roamed the sewers.

The reason? Asm was bored. He wanted to see how much a society of "gifted" humans would tolerate from a child before they snapped. But he had miscalculated one thing: in a world where people can shoot lasers from their eyes, a kid causing mayhem isn't a "demon"—he's just a "difficult student."

The School for the Gifted (and the Annoying)

The authorities didn't send Asm to prison. They sent him to the St. Jude Center for Gifted Correction. It was a madhouse. The hallways smelled of ozone, burnt hair, and grape juice. For a boy who valued silence and anatomical precision, this was his personal version of hell.

Asm sat in the back of the classroom, his white eyes hidden behind his cloth, plotting how many liters of gasoline it would take to turn the playground into a permanent bonfire. But he couldn't even think because of Pip.

Pip was a seven-year-old with a "Vocal Mimicry" Curse. He didn't just talk; he echoed every single thought Asm had out loud, but in a high-pitched, squeaky voice.

"I am the shadow," Asm would think.

"I am the shadow! Squeak!" Pip would yell, jumping on Asm's desk.

"I will harvest their souls," Asm would mutter.

"I will harvest their bowls! Like cereal! Nom nom nom!" Pip screamed, clapping his hands.

Asm's eye twitched. He reached out to grab Pip's throat, but before he could, he was interrupted by Bubbles.

Bubbles was a girl whose Gift was "Unconditional Stickiness." She didn't walk; she attached herself to things. She had decided, within five minutes of meeting Asm, that he was her new "bestie." She was currently glued to Asm's left arm, her cheek pressed against his sleeve. Every time he tried to shake her off, he only became more entangled in her pink, glittery aura.

"You're so soft, Mr. Grumpy!" Bubbles chirped. "You smell like old basements and doom! I love it!"

The Breaking Point

Then came the final boss of annoyance: Leo. Leo had a Curse that made his fingers constantly spark with flame. He was trying to show Asm a "magic trick" involving a paper crane.

"Look, Asm! Look at the birdy!" Leo shouted, leaning over Asm's desk.

A stray ember landed on Asm's notebook—the one where he kept his neat drawings of human skeletal structures. The paper curled. The ink ran. The "Collection" was ruined.

Asm didn't move. He didn't blink. But a sound started in the back of his throat—a low, vibrating growl that made the glass in the windows hum. Then, he let it out.

"ENOUGH!"

His voice, amplified by a sudden surge of his raw power, shattered the reality of the room. The foundations of the school groaned. The lockers down the hall burst open. The sheer, overwhelming Aura of a hundred-year-old grudge slammed into the students like a physical wall.

The Boss is Born

The silence that followed was absolute. Pip stopped squeaking. Bubbles actually fell off his arm. For the first time in the school's history, no one was flying.

Leo stared at Asm with wide, watery eyes. He didn't run. Instead, he grabbed a notebook from his bag and started fanning Asm with it.

"I-I'm so sorry, Lord Asm!" Leo stammered. "Please don't look at my organs! Are you hot? Do you need air?"

Suddenly, the "Red Sea" of students parted. A boy named Fin, who could manipulate gravity, walked over and used his powers to make Asm's chair float exactly two inches off the ground so he wouldn't have to touch the "dirty" floor.

"The King must be comfortable!" Fin declared.

A girl with a water Gift appeared, holding a chilled soda. "Please, Great One! Drink this before your throat gets dry from all that shouting!"

Asm blinked. This wasn't the punishment he wanted. He wanted them to fear him. Instead, a line of kids had formed to polish his shoes and offer him their lunch snacks. Even the teacher, Mr. Henderson, patted Asm's head. "What leadership! Asm, you're my new favorite student. You've finally brought peace to this class!"

Asm's eye twitched under the cloth. "This... this is not what I intended."

The Closing Time Mob

When the final bell rang, Asm stood up, ready to vanish. But as he reached the front gate, he was spotted by The Hugger.

The Hugger was a massive kid named Tiny who had a "Gigantism" Gift. He didn't understand personal space.

"GROUP HUG FOR THE BOSS!" Tiny bellowed.

Fifty children surged forward in a literal wave of "affection." Before he could move, Asm was buried under a pile of small, sticky bodies. Pip was screaming his name, Bubbles was glued to his leg again, and Leo was accidentally singeing the back of his shirt while trying to hug his waist.

"Don't leave, Boss!"

"You're the best, Asm!"

"Tell us how you wrestled the gorilla again!"

Asm struggled, his small hands pushing against a sea of sticky fingers. His "Silent Madness" was being defeated by the power of glitter, grape juice, and unwanted friendship.

"Stop this at once!" he roared, but it was useless. To them, he was a hero.

The Aftermath

Three hours later, Asm finally managed to limp back to the orphanage. His white cloth was crooked, his hair was full of Bubbles' glitter, and he had a "I'm a Star!" sticker stuck to his forehead.

His little brother looked up from a book. "Hey, Asm! How was the new school? Did you prove you're the most dangerous person in the town?"

Asm didn't look at him. He walked straight to the bathroom to scrub the "friendship" off his skin.

"Don't ask," he muttered, his voice hollow. "Just... don't ever ask." 😊
