Chapter 12 - The Precursor Absolute

The Journey Beyond The Absolute

The Precursor Absolute

I state with an air of foreboding that I am prepared to confront her now as I teleport myself to Lyras realm and touch down on the enigmatic plane known as The Precursor Absolute.

The Precursor Absolute is a boundless labyrinth of narrative layers, each transcending the one before it, creating a complex tapestry that defies typical understanding. In this realm, narratives are not merely stories they exist in a state that is both real and unreal, tangible and intangible. The first layer is a monumental expanse that contains an infinite reservoir of narrative creation vast, limitless, and everlasting, where every possible story has existed or ever will exist. It is both a cradle for imagination and a vast ocean of ideas. It even contains the Prime Totality.

Beyond this initial layer lies the second, a dimension that encompasses concepts stretching beyond even absolute infinity, a terrain populated by abstractions that elude all comprehension. This layer holds the profound and unfathomable truths of existence, revealing mysteries that are pivotal to understanding the cosmos itself. It is a space where realitys very fabric is woven, challenging the boundaries of thought and perception.

Finally, there exists a third layer that houses the fictional realm a richly woven tapestry of limitless fictions and imagined realities that spiral inwards without end or constraint. Here, the concept of story unfolds into myriad forms, transcending the definitions of life and death, crafting narrative realities that explore the nature of being and nonbeing. This layer is a fertile ground for tales of existence beyond mortality, where the essence of what it means to be cast in the shadows of existence is ever evolving.

At the heart of this incomprehensible expanse lies the concept of the void coin, a gargantuan enigma that defies logic and contravenes the principles of time, space, and reality itself. It is so beautifully immense that notions such as "large" or "vast" become utterly meaningless when confronted with its true nature. It occupies a space beyond the conceivable, straddling the lines of what is termed impossible and possible, existing beyond even the fabric of fiction. The void coin not only transcends itself but also the complexity of its layers, each one aligning within the fictional realm in a dance of perpetual creation.

And there, residing within The Precursor Absolute, is the Prime Totality. At the farthest end of this mind bending realm, there stands a monumental building, an architectural marvel that embodies the convergence of these various layers, a testament to the cosmic narrative that unfolds endlessly within.

As I traverse through the building, I find myself standing face to face with Lyra. I address her with a tone laden with darkness, revealing my thoughts as I question, "I believed I had eradicated every single iteration of the Prime Totality. Why, then, do they still linger in this place?"

Lyras expression holds a hint of amusement, a soft smile playing upon her lips. "Ah, big bro, welcome to The Precursor Absolute. Is it your first visit? By the way, you look so different now your appearance has changed remarkably."

With an edge of frustration, I respond, "Thats irrelevant at this point. You opened a portal while I was preoccupied. You sent me off to another dimension when I wasnt looking, didnt you?"

Lyras grin widens, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Of course, I did, big bro. I cant keep you in the dark forever, can I?"

Yet, I press on, my expression stern. "But more importantly, stop pretending. Lets address the real issue why did you eliminate Kael Ryn and Lucien Morvane?"

The amusement in Lyras demeanor shifts to something darker. Her face twists with disgust as she steps closer, the atmosphere thick with tension. "Your friends" she begins, her voice sharp"they were plotting to manipulate you."

I demand to know the truth behind her actions. "And whats the real reason behind it?"

Before I can react, Lyras smile returns, twisted and enigmatic as she declares, "Because they obstructed the bond we share, so I eliminated them one by one." As she reaches out and caresses my face, her voice softens with an intensity that sends chills down my spine. "No one gets to take you away from me. No one."

"Is that so?" I retort, my skepticism unfurling. "And who compelled you to do such a thing?"

With an unsettling proximity, Lyra leans closer, a glint of madness igniting in her eyes. "No one at all, you see. I truly love you." Her voice drips with a strange adoration, as if her very being is consumed by it.

I pull back, grappling with disbelief. "Youve done all this merely because you felt neglected while I spent time with them? That hardly feels like you. Youre under someone elses influence!"

A dark chuckle escapes her, the laughter echoing against the walls of the building. "Not quite I wouldnt label it jealousy, rather a profound discontent."

Fury wells within me as I clench my fist tightly. "I swear I will have my revenge. I will face my little sister in battle if it means making you understand how deep my hatred for you runs."

Her unsettling smile widens, morphing into something almost euphoric. "And you dont comprehend how intense my love for you is."

With a mighty clench of my fist, I scowl at her. "Murdering people in the name of love is not genuine affection! That is sheer madness not love!"

"Oh, please!" she exclaims, her voice laced with manic joy, "A blind fool like you cannot fathom the depths of my reality. If its for you, it is, by nature, an act of love, is it not? Why cant you accept that I adore you, big brother?" As she clutches her chest, the pain of rejection grips her heart, and I can see the torment behind her crazed expression.

Overcome by rage, I bellow, "The deities of the absolute cannot deter me! The angels have failed to restrain me, and neither will you! I am done with those who betray me while masquerading as love!" My body tenses, and I prepare for confrontation, the fury radiating off me like an inferno. "Mark my words, I will have my vengeance!"

A maniacal gleam flickers in Lyras eyes, and her smile broadens. "Then lets see how you withstand this challenge." Drawing forth her sword, she brandishes it with elegance and ferocity. Its design is mesmerizing crafted from an ethereal metal that glistens with a subtle luminescence, the blade appears to shift and shimmer with every movement, echoing the narratives it has sliced through. As she swings it in a precise downward arc, she faintly maneuvers it into an upward strike aimed at my right arm, a testament to her skill and determination.

The air crackles with anticipation as we stand on the brink of a confrontation that could reshape everything once more.

As I utter those words darkly, a sense of foreboding fills the air. "Did you seriously believe that would be enough to stop me?" My eyes widen in astonishment as Lyras sword slices cleanly through my arm, a disembodied limb falling away as it travels through what feels like an beyond absolute infinite number of The Precursor Absolute an infinite void that seems to stretch on forever, echoing with the weight of countless possibilities.

Lyra chuckles malevolently, a sound that sends chills down my spine. "Oh, big bro, you clearly underestimate my sword. It possesses the ability to cut through absolutely anything, no matter the plane of existence or hierarchy there are no restrictions at all. I havent encountered anyone I couldnt cleave in two!" Her pride resonates in every syllable, a mix of confidence and thrilling danger.

With determination boiling inside me, I retort, "Then I shall transcend into the impossible Pinnacle, evolving beyond all limitations!" Instantly, I leap back, clutching the bloody stump where my arm used to be. In a heartbeat a fraction of a moment that even defies the concept of speed I regenerate my severed right arm, the flesh knitting together with a swift, almost miraculous fluidity.

Lyras eyes widen in disbelief. "Youre quite the rapid regenerator, arent you? In that case, Ill just increase my speed." With a maddened grin, she begins to swing her sword faster than before, sending slashes in every direction like a tempest unleashed. "You cant hope to dodge this, big bro this is checkmate!"

I respond darkly, "But there is one thing I can do." I brace myself against her onslaught, the sharp edge of her blade slicing into both of my arms until theyre severed cleanly away again. The force of her attack sends me spiraling through the vast, beyond absolute infinite number of layers of The Precursor Absolute, where I crash hard against the ground, gasping for breath and reeling from the impact.

With manic delight, Lyras smile widens as her excitement dances in her eyes. "Cant keep up with me?"

I rise to my feet, pouring all my willpower into standing tall again. My arms, though lost mere moments ago, regenerate instantaneously, outpacing even the concept of speed itself. "Now its my turn," I declare darkly. With speed that surpasses the concept, in one swift motion, that surpasses beyond absolute infinite itself, I pull Lyra towards me by her neck, my fist rocketing forward as I deliver a brutal punch to her gut. The force catapults her backward through the absolute infinite number of The Precursor Absolutes, sending her sword flying from the ground.

Lyra, still grinning despite the impact, wheezes as she coughs up blood, the bruises already blooming on her stomach. "It seems were evenly matched, arent we? Youve forced my hand…" Gritting her teeth against the pain, she rises and stumbles back to her sword, raising it triumphantly into the air, its blade glinting menacingly in the light.

"What are you planning this time?" I ask darkly, the tension in my voice palpable as I watch her every move.

With a crazed smile spreading across her face, Lyra declares, "Celestial… Absolute… Vortex… Strike!" She swings her sword in wide arcs that defy comprehension, unleashing a massive vortex that spirals around like a storm, its reach deepening into the beyond the concept of beyond absolute infinite itself through the layers of The Precursor Absolute.

I feel my eyes widen with shock, the realization striking me like a lightning bolt. "To think you would keep something so powerful hidden from me! I suspected you were holding back, but not to this scale." A sudden determination ignites within me this must be her trump card. With resolve, I raise my hands towards the heavens, gathering a colossal sphere of dark energy that encapsulates an absolute infinite number void of The Precursor Absolute. I unleash this dark force upon her Celestial Vortex Strike, resulting in a cataclysmic explosion that dwarfs even the concept of being beyond absolute infinity.

"Im still standing!" Lyra calls out, her voice strained but filled with wild elation. Slowly, she rises to her feet, her attire tattered and bloodied, bruises marring her skin like badges of honor. "How about you?"

"Im very much alive," I respond darkly, the weight of her question hanging in the air. "But you must explain how your attack managed to withstand mine unless… it, too, bypasses all concepts too." With that realization dawning on me, I pull myself up from the rubble, my body battered, but my wounds healing instantly with a speed that challenges comprehension.

Lyra smirks, her eyes glinting with excitement. "Oh, youve caught on correct! But more importantly, youre really a demon you know, your wounds heal far too quickly."

A chuckle escapes me as I reply darkly, "Better to be a demon than to be dead."

Her grip tightens around her sword, her energy crackling with intensity. "You know what this means, dont you?"

I ready my fists, feeling an electric charge in the air. "Yes, I understand fully our battle isnt finished yet."

"Correct!" she cackles, swinging her sword faster than ever before. Theres something different about her now a newfound willpower surging like a tempest, her speed surpassing reality itself as she hurls her sword directly at my face.

Sensing the shift, I respond darkly, "Youve changed. Something has evolved within you!" With resolve, I catch her sword just inches away from my face, the blade trembling against my grip.

Lyras laughter fills the air, laced with a dark thrill. "Thats right, big bro! Ive realized just how much I love you!" In a flash, she lunges forward, landing a punch squarely on my face and sending me hurtling through another beyond absolute infinite expanse of The Precursor Absolute.

I manage to choke out bitter words, "Too bad my heart already belongs to someone else." Blood spills from my mouth as Im mercilessly launched backward, acknowledging the depth of this battle even as the distance grows. In a speed that renders the concept of the speed, irrelevant Im already up on my feet.

Lyra exclaims with a wild, crazed smile plastered across her face, Then Ill take your heart back to me! as she sweeps my legs out from under me, sending me sprawling to the ground.

I respond, my tone heavy and dark, If Mom were here, she would say how wrong this entire situation is. The weight of her disapproval looms heavily in my mind, a reminder of the familial values that guide us.

Lyra, unfazed, continues to grin maniacally, her eyes glinting with a mix of disbelief and madness, Oh, please! Youre only a year older than me! Were practically the same age! Her words drip with a defiance that hints at underlying desperation, as if shes grasping for some semblance of justification for her twisted affection.

I shake my head, my voice gravely serious, Thats not the main issue here! Mom wouldnt approve of any of this! Besides, Ive already rejected your feelings. Ill keep doing it, again and again, until you finally grasp just how much I despise you. My intent is clear, yet her relentless pursuit rattles the walls of my conviction.

Lyras eyes widen, and she clutches her heart, which seems metaphorically shattered by my rejection. With a fire ignited inside her, she proclaims, If I cant have you, then no one can! In a flash, she pulls my arm towards her forcefully, shoving my hand away, and grasps her sword a stark embodiment of her violent passion. With a swift motion, she slashes at my gut, her rage manifesting in physical form.

I respond darkly, the tide of the confrontation resolving within me, Thanks to you, I see things very clearly now your defeat is inevitable! This newfound determination fuels my resolve for vengeance. I stagger backwards from her kick but manage to land on my feet, a transformation overtakes me. As my eyes shift to a dark shade of yellow, my hair turns a striking blonde, and my cloak transforms to a radiant white. My pants follow suit, becoming pure as the driven snow. This is my... Absolute Pinnacle... Indomitable Resolve! I cry out, feeling an immense surge of power coursing through my veins.

Lyras crazed smile remains, her derision blatant as she retorts, Oh? Youve changed, so what? Her lack of concern for my transformation only fuels my anger further.

I respond, my voice low and menacing, So what? Ive evolved because of you! I now understand how important resolve truly is to me. Brace yourself for my wrath! I prepare my fist, ready to unleash the storm brewing inside me.

A grin creeping across her face, Lyra answers with mock enthusiasm, Very well then! Lets see what changes youve undergone! She rushes forward, throwing a punch aimed at my face that sends me careening through an endless void, the metaphorical beyond absolute infinite number of The Precursor Absolute engulfing me in darkness.

Once again, I collect myself, a bloody trail running down my nose from the impact. Not bad at all, Lyra, I say, regaining my footing, But your resolve is lacking. While I fight with everything I have, you hesitate which is a weakness. You cant bring yourself to kill me, after all. I suspected as much.

Lyra, with her deranged smile still in place, acknowledges my observation, You really notice even the smallest things. But its time to put an end to this, dont you think?

I nod solemnly, I couldnt agree more. Gathering my force, I conjure a ball of dark energy, but this time its interwoven with a bright white essence, creating a blend of darkness that stretches beyond the very definition of the beyond absolute infinite itself in number of The Precursor Absolute.

With a manic determination, Lyra grips her sword tightly, raising it skyward as she declares, This is it!

In sync, we announce our final moves, This is our last stand! Its everything or nothing!

I shout, This is my... Oblivion of Absolutes! and launch my colossal attack downward, the energy spiraling with raw intent.

Lyra, equally determined, responds with a battle cry of her own, Celestial... Absolute... Vortex..Strike! Swinging her sword in a blinding arc that defies the very laws of speed, she conjures a massive vortex that spirals outward, transcending the previously mentioned concepts.

As our monumental forces clash, a cataclysmic blast vibrates through the very fabric of reality my Oblivion of Absolutes pushing back against her Celestial... Absolute... Vortex..Strike. The resulting explosion obliterates every single instance of the Precursor Absolute, leaving nothing but chaos in its wake.

I stand resolutely, gazing down at Lyra, who lies on the ground, gravely injured and bleeding profusely. Its a scene that fills me with conflicting emotions.

Looks like I won, I whisper darkly, the victory feeling bittersweet.

Lyra, barely conscious, strains to speak through labored breaths, You... bastard... if... you... hadnt... created... a new... form... I wouldnt... have... lost…

I reply, my voice unwavering, Thats right. Unlike my True Absolute Pinnacle form, this version of me reflects my unwavering resolve.

Her eyes widen in shocked recognition, Damn it… youre... just... too... much…

I cant help but smile darkly, And…?

With a quiet, haunting laughter, she continues, I truly did love you, big bro. You know that… I never... wanted... this... to happen... I... just wanted... your... attention... your... love…

My expression softens, a knowing smile gracing my lips as I reply, I know that already. But you must understand that my heart belongs to someone else. She is my reason for being, and Ill stop at nothing to figure out how to bring her back to me, no matter the price…

Lyra stares deeply into my eyes, her heartbroken smile betraying the pain in her words, I... see… even... if... the... entire... world... turned... against... you...?

I nod resolutely, Id fight the entire world if it meant that bringing her back was possible.

With a defeated sigh, she whispers weakly, I... see... she... means... an... awful... lot... to... you…

I watch as her eyes slowly close, a profound absence enveloping me, I didnt say you could die yet, did I?

Suddenly, a figure emerges from the shadows, her voice resonating with an ancient tone, You should let the girl die. After experiencing the heartbreak of losing her only love, do you really think she would want to continue living in such despair?

I spoke in a tone heavy with suspicion, my voice laced with an ominous undertone. "How long exactly have you been trailing me, hmm? Its a question that lingers in the air, filled with a creeping unease.

Aeona Axiom, enigmatic as ever, let out a laugh, a sound that held a trace of amusement mixed with an unsettling wisdom. "So, you were aware of my presence this whole time, werent you?" The realization hung between us, thick and palpable.

With a steely resolve, I reiterated my question, my curiosity piqued by her whimsical demeanor. "Of course I did! But let me ask you this why are you following me in the first place?" My words came out sharper, revealing my deep seated anxiety over her unnerving interest in my whereabouts.

In response, Aeona Axioms voice transformed, taking on an ancient quality, resonating with the weight of countless untold stories. "Very well, I suppose its time to dispense with the pleasantries and get straight to the heart of the matter…" Her words hung in the air.
