Julia was the last child in the family. When she first entered secondary school, her mother sent her to a boarding school called St. Monica's college. She stayed there for 3years and during that time, alot happened.....
One evening, Julia confronted her family that she wanted to change school and when they asked why, she simply said "I don't want you to continue spending too much money on me"and then her mother laughed softly "who said I'm spending too much my love?"
Julia having no more excuses stayed quiet because she didn't want to raise more questions.
**Next morning**
Julia woke up early dressed in her school uniform. When she stepped out of her room, her mom screamed
"sweetheart where are you going dressed like that, have you forgotten you are on holidays?"
Julia froze(oh God.... school has closed).
"Oh mom. I totally forgot.
Let me go and change" she said quickly.
Her mom shakes her head "oh gosh, this child. Last night she was talking about changing school and now she is dressed for school forgetting she is a boarder 🤦♀️what would I do with her?
**Julia's POV**
What is wrong with me?
Am I going crazy or what?
I need to put myself together before mom starts asking strange questions and now my sister is coming for holidays-with my nephews! Those little cuties 😊.
Lemme quickly dress up and ask mom when they'll be arriving.
**KITCHEN**
Music was playing softly in the kitchen.
🎶"brown skin girl, your skin just like pearl..."🎶
Julia rushes in without warning and startles her
mom who is chopping onions. The knife slips and she hurts her finger.
"Ouch"
Julia panicked.
"Oh mom, I'm so sorry!"
She said quickly grabbing the first aid box.
"Please sit down. Let me treat it"
After cleaning and dressing the wound, Julia helps and they continue the cooking.
"Mom" she said carefully,
"when is Delise coming?"
(Delise is her sister, the mother of her nephews)
"Tomorrow dear" her mom replies.
** Next Day**
Julia wakes up to a loud scream-and she knew exactly who had arrived.
Her eyes flew open and the first thing she saw was a pair of puppy eyes staring at her, it was her nephew, Jose.
"Heyyyy!"
She laughs, lifts him up and showers his face with kisses before rushing out to greet her sister.
**living Room**
"Oh my gosh, mom! I missed you so much,"
Delise says as she hugs her mom tightly. As they broke the hug, Julia walks in with Jose in her arms.
"I knew it could only be you with that loud voice,"
Julia teased.
Delise laughed and gave her a playful spank
"Auch!"
Julia screamed dramatically turning to her mom with a do-something look and everyone bursts into laughter.
Julia gently drops Jose and picks up the other baby Chris. As she held him, she smiled to herself.
Her holiday had officially begun-because her babies were around and she knew she would be the one taking care of them.
