Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

The date reached its peak as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of violet and gold. Alex drove the Ducati up a winding path to a secluded cliffside viewpoint that overlooked the entire sparkling city of Kuoh.

The moon began to rise, casting a silver glow over Sona's black dress and making her look like a goddess of the night.

Alexander stood beside Sona, the chocolate cake they had baked together resting on the bike. The air was cool, and the city lights twinkled like fallen stars below them.

Alexander's Inner Voice:

[Internal Thought: She looks so happy. It's a side of her the school never sees—not the strict President, just Sona. I think it's time. She's worked so hard to prove herself despite the shadow of her sister. She deserves something that belongs only to her.]

"Sona," Alex said softly, stepping closer. "I have something for you. Close your eyes."

Sona looked at him curiously, her heart thumping against her ribs, but she obeyed. Alex reached out, his finger gently touching her forehead.

Alexander's Inner Voice:

[Internal Thought: Ciel, initiate the knowledge transfer. Ancient Water Magic—The Abyssal Sovereignty Spells. Merge them with her mana core.]

Suddenly, Sona's mind was flooded with ancient, complex geometric patterns and fluid mana structures. She saw visions of water that could cut through diamonds, tides that could heal any wound, and ice that would never melt. These weren't just spells; they were the lost arts of a primordial era.

Sona gasped, her eyes snapping open. As a master of water magic herself, she realized instantly what he had given her. These were spells that surpassed the current knowledge of the Leviathan clan.

"Alexander... this is... I can't even describe it," Sona whispered, her voice trembling. "This is priceless. A legacy like this... why would you give it to me?"

Alex took her hands in his, his gaze intense and warm. "In my old world, those spells were priceless," he replied, his voice a low rumble. "But in this world, to me... you are priceless, Sona."

The Mental Reaction:

Sona Sitri: (Her heart practically exploded) 'He called me priceless... He didn't say the Sitri heir, he said ME.'Serafall Leviathan: (Pouting in the Underworld) "Noooo! My little sister is getting all the romantic lines! Alex-chan, I'm the Leviathan! I should be the one getting water spells! Fine... I'm making a list. Step 1: Make Alex fall for me. Step 2: Make him say I'm priceless too!"

The Final Seal

Sona couldn't hold back anymore. She threw her arms around Alex's neck, hugging him tightly, burying her face in the crook of his shoulder. She felt safe, cherished, and truly seen for the first time.

Alex pulled back just enough to look at her. Her glasses were slightly fogged, her lips a soft, inviting pink. The moonlight reflected in her eyes. Slowly, he leaned in.

The kiss was sweet, slow, and lasted until the world around them seemed to fade away. It wasn't the fiery, possessive kiss he had shared with Grayfia, but a promise—a deep, soul-stirring connection that marked Sona as his.

Alexander's Inner Voice:

[Internal Thought: Yeah. This was definitely better than a hotel. She tastes like the chocolate we made and the cool night air. I think I'm in trouble... I might actually be falling for her.]

The "Spy Team" in the Bushes:

Rias: (Biting a handkerchief) "It should have been me! That kiss looked so romantic!"Akeno: (Blushing) "My, my... Alex-kun is a master of timing. But look behind us..."

Behind the spying girls stood Grayfia, leaning against a tree with her arms crossed and a knowing smirk on her face. "Enjoying the show, ladies? Or should I report this 'stalking' behavior to Lord Darius?"

The girls shrieked in a whisper, scattering into the shadows as Grayfia watched her Master with a soft, proud smile.
