Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 Didn’t you guess it?

Ameri, who had fallen to the ground, instantly recalled the contents of her first love memories upon seeing this familiar scene. That boy had also used his charm on the girl in the same way!

Ameri's face immediately flushed, and her heart pounded.

"Are you hurt?" Shesi asked with some concern when Ameri didn't respond. 'No way, surely this Student Council President isn't going to try to extort me?'

"You, fellow, state your name!" Ameri suddenly shouted at Shesi.

Shesi was startled and immediately blurted out his name.

"My name is Shesi."

Hearing this name, Ameri was stunned for a moment, then immediately remembered that this person was one of the special admissions students! Ameri's mind began to brainstorm.

"Shesi? Does this guy want to bump into me and make me fall for him?! This guy! He must be a human!" Ameri directly grabbed Shesi's face. Although Shesi noticed, he didn't sense any killing intent, so he didn't dodge. He also wanted to know what Ameri was up to. He didn't know much about Ameri in his previous life, but he had a slight guess that Ameri was likely a half-human, half-demon, because Ameri's mother was very likely human.

Shesi's face was kneaded back and forth by Ameri.

"You're messing up my fur!" Shesi protested.

Hearing Shesi's voice, Ameri finally calmed down a bit, then looked at Shesi and thought to herself,

"'Calm down, I need to calm down. If it's discovered that there's a human in the Demon World, it will cause a huge commotion. First, I need to contact my father, the head of the Demon World Security Bureau, and then turn him over to the relevant departments. As the Student Council President, I must burn to ashes anything that disrupts the academy's order.'"

Shesi looked at Ameri's eyes and for some reason, even though he felt her gaze was intense, he suddenly felt a chill down his spine.

"Anyway, please first…" Shesi was about to remove Ameri's hands from his face when she reacted quickly and grabbed his hand back.

Suddenly, Shesi looked at the first love memories that had fallen to the side.

"Tsk, it really is this book," Shesi had suspected it before, and now he was sure. It was indeed "first love memories," a work from the manga studio where he used to work part-time in the human world.

Ameri's eyes narrowed, realizing something was wrong. Just as she was about to retrieve it, Shesi took it.

"Let me see, chapter one? The plot before this isn't what I managed; my design starts from chapter 60." Shesi flipped through it idly. That's right, when he was in the human world, Shesi had been forced to work as an artist for a period, and Iruma had been forced to work as his assistant, helping him out.

"You can read it?!" Ameri looked at Shesi.

"Haven't you already guessed? Miss Ameri, Student Council President," Shesi knew this woman was very intelligent. In the original story, she could deduce Iruma's identity from subtle details, so in reality, the chances of him hiding from her were very slim.

Shesi was about to start negotiating with Ameri about his human identity.

"You! Can! Read! It!?"

"Uh? Yes." Shesi didn't quite understand why Ameri was so surprised. Hadn't she already guessed that he and Iruma were humans? But Ameri didn't care and directly pulled out first love memories, asking Shesi to read a passage. After Shesi naturally read it aloud,

"Come with me."

"Hm? Yes, is it finally time to get down to business?" Shesi nodded to himself. Although school was out, this wasn't the place to discuss things. Shesi followed Ameri to the Student Council room.

"So… read manga aloud?" Shesi looked at Ameri, who was sitting opposite him on the sofa, with a hint of disbelief, then looked at the book he was holding and said.

"Ye… Yes!" Ameri said.

Shesi sighed, then looked at Ameri, and a thought flashed through his mind.

"So that's it, you want to confirm if I'm really human? A bit too cautious, even though you've already guessed." Shesi nodded. This was indeed a battle of wits among intelligent people. Then Shesi began to read the contents of "first love memories," and Ameri listened with great interest.

"Wait, what does 'date' mean?"

"Hm, it means a boy and a girl going out together."

"This woman is so annoying!"

…And so, Shesi spoke, and Ameri listened intently, occasionally asking questions, which Shesi patiently answered.

Iruma, at the school gate, was a bit worried, looking at Shesi, who hadn't come out yet. It had been almost half an hour; why wasn't he out yet?

"What will my school life become?!"

"To be continued."

Shesi looked at Ameri after finishing the story.

Ameri, on the other hand, looked utterly content, finally understanding what the book was about.

"Phone."

A voice sounded, but Shesi didn't hear it clearly. He looked up at Ameri.

"I said, phone!" Ameri said, raising her voice a little.

"Oh." Shesi started searching for his phone on his person, but no matter where he felt, he couldn't find it.

"Huh? My phone?" Shesi suddenly realized that he might have accidentally dropped his phone in the Magical Plant Garden.

Ameri saw this scene, directly pulled Shesi's hand, and began to write her phone number on his palm.

"This is my number. When you find your phone, give me a call. And when I call you, come immediately!" Ameri thought for a moment, then added,

"Don't tell anyone else, come alone!"

"Uh…" Shesi understood. He had taken Iruma's job. This Student Council President didn't intend to reveal her cards to him.

Thinking this, Shesi took his leave. It was already completely dark, and he hoped Iruma wasn't too anxious waiting.

When Shesi ran to the school gate, he saw Iruma waiting for him under a tree nearby.

"Iruma."

Iruma finally breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Shesi.

"Brother, why are you so late?"

"Something came up… I guess I found myself a job?"

"A job?" Iruma was a bit confused but didn't ask further.

"Oh, by the way, Brother, I called you many times, but you didn't answer."

Shesi heard this and said,

"Oh, I just realized my phone seems to have been left in the magical biology classroom."

The two walked back together, while inside the Student Council room, Ameri looked at a whole wall of forbidden books… or rather, first love memories.

"He can interpret forbidden books, so it's clear. This guy is indeed human. So, both special admissions students are human. But what does Lord Sullivan mean by this? No, I must take appropriate action… However… as the Student Council President, I need to be more cautious. It's too early to judge now. At least let him finish reading first love memories."

At home, Shesi looked at the phone in his hand and marveled at how useful magic was. Just now, after Shesi told his grandfather about it, he had planned to go look for it tomorrow, but Sullivan directly cast a spell, and the lost item flew right back into Shesi's hand.

Shesi first added Ameri's contact information and then started sending messages.
