Chapter 1 - The "Smart" Parrot

Once there was a man named Mr. Rahim who lived alone and felt a bit bored. To keep himself entertained, he decided to buy a parrot. He went to a pet shop and found a beautiful, colorful parrot.

"Is this parrot smart?" Mr. Rahim asked the shopkeeper.

"Oh, he's very smart!" the shopkeeper replied. "But be careful, he learns everything he hears very quickly."

Mr. Rahim took the parrot home. For the first few days, he tried to teach the parrot some polite words like "Hello," "Good morning," and "Thank you." But the parrot just sat there, staring at him in silence.

One afternoon, Mr. Rahim was fixing a leaky pipe under his kitchen sink. He was struggling, and suddenly, he banged his head on the pipe. "Ouch! You stupid pipe!" he shouted in frustration.

The next morning, Mr. Rahim's boss came over for breakfast to discuss a promotion. As they sat down at the table, the parrot finally decided to speak. It looked straight at the boss and screamed:

"Ouch! You stupid boss! Ouch! You stupid boss!"

Mr. Rahim turned bright red. He tried to cover the cage, but the parrot just kept yelling louder. The boss looked shocked, then slowly started to laugh.

"Well, Rahim," the boss said, wiping tears from his eyes, "I guess your parrot knows exactly how you feel about our Monday morning meetings!"

Mr. Rahim didn't get the promotion that day, but he definitely learned one thing: never complain about work when a parrot is in the room.
